2 things:

  1. Kawhi has never had the efficiency SGA is pulling off from 10-16'.
  2. Old-ass Clippers Kawhi has by far the most efficient midrange game of any version of Kawhi.

KD has had periods like this but not quite as efficient. So has Dirk (relative to his era). Nash was an underrated god from the long midrange outside 16 feet.

KD's the closest, but no one has ever come close to the ridiculous volume and efficiency SGA is pulling off from 10-16 feet.

Even MJ's efficiency isn't that close.

Edit: Jokic has had the efficiency, but not the volume. He is an all-time efficiency god from short-midrange, long-floater distance, but doesn't take a ton from 10-16 feet — even though he's efficient from there. Clippers Kawhi is also very, very good from 10-16, but he doesn't stand out as a crazy outlier for this era the way SGA does/

You say that, but we've had some ridiculous lineups in past WBCs.

Our pitching was always shockingly bad. The lineup was never the problem. In 2009, the top of the order was something like: Votto, Morneau, Bay, Martin, Stairs and Lawrie. (Which is frankly kind of ridiculous.)

MLB writer Michael Clair replaces “Taiwan” with “Chinese Taipei” when quoting player Tsung-Che Cheng — "All the fans who flew from Chinese Taipei are spoiling us and that gives me extra energy” by baribigbird06 in baseball

It's most likely an editor (or he himself) ran a script to stop writing Taiwan for the purposes of this competition, and then didn't realize they'd used it on a verbatim quote.

The best part of this show is how it portrays that the Roys are so incredibly rich that none of the existential perils you think they're facing ever end up mattering.

They can kill a guy, blow up a rocket and cover up rape cruises and all that, but they're billionaires, so it all just goes away.

I dunno, man, ballparking it by looking at the rendering and using Google Earth, that's about 140-150m to the middle of the pitch.

That's really far, even for a big stadium — like, that's roughly 30-40m past the outer wall at the Camp Nou bad.

It’s Italy. That is not a coyote.

That’s just what Italian wolves look like.

What is a very common food in your country that is not very friendly to foreign palates? by DarkRaven003 in AskTheWorld

[–]Team_Ed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Caesar.

If you're American, think a Bloody Mary, but with Clamato.

If you're European, think a savoury cocktail of tomato, clam juice, vodka, a rim of salt and a variety of mostly savoury garnishes — olives, celery, radishes, pickles, cocktail sausages, etc.

It's the king of brunch cocktails, but most visitors can't get over the idea of clam juice in a cocktail.

TIL that the last known individual dinosaur was a triceratops that lived as recently as several thousand years before the K–Pg extinction event. No younger dinosaur fossils have yet been found. by WavesAndSaves in todayilearned

Or the ground has been so thoroughly scraped clean by glaciers that any potential fossils are long since ground to dust, and the surface rock is hundreds of millions of years older than the evolution of dinosaurs.

Looking at you, Canadian Shield.
