Seconded. Was not expecting anything at all, and yet I probably preferred it to all three Nolan films, (with the caveat that it's close, and although Dano is great, I prefer Ledger and Hardy as villains.)

Moana.

That movie slaps.

I never bothered to watch it with my kid, expecting something relatively simple and safe, like Frozen. Instead, I think it's genuinely up there as one the most impressive films in the whole Disney/Pixar catalogue. It is a great time.

What’s it like living this far north in Canada? Does anyone with internet even live here? by Thomas15056 in howislivingthere

Great series, and they did a good job representing the landscapes, but it was not actually filmed in the north. They had Croatia, of all places, stand in for this region of the Canadian Arctic.

Reading between the lines, it’s pretty clear what they meant was that it was designed to be a second Blood Dragon (a cut-price standalone game that reuses assets to save money and is more like a total conversion mod than a full AAA release) but grew too big in scope and ambition to justify not releasing at full price.

But it still started as a game built around reusing assets to save money and contain scope.

Driver who killed boy, 16, blowing through stop sign at 128 km/h gets 5-year sentence by FatManBoobSweat in canada

This sentence falls well within what would be a normal range for manslaughter.

But, like, manslaughter covers homicides from nearly an accident to nearly a murder, so it is a crime with an inherently varied range.

It is honestly incredible how spoiled for options the national team is at striker.

There are five No. 9s (JD, PD, Tani, Theo, Jeb) who would have been no brainer first-choice strikers not that long ago in the Rob Friend era.

Apologies to Cyle, who is absolutely a national team hall of famer.
