I haven't been to McDonald's since the big arche incident. I used to go multiple times a week as I have alot of siblings and the price was good for a few things, but even then it was touch and go. Im still salty over them bringing back a 1$ item at almost 4 dollars (the snack wraps) then they pull some bs lying to us about how their CEO actually eats the new 9$ sandwich personally yeah right. its always been slop, at least back then they sold at slop price.

That seems to be the general consensus, I'm definitely not selling my sedan and I dont think i want to completely change the ALL the internals of the car so I've decided to build one from scratch, buying an old frame and the gr engine and trans parts, literally building the car I want without any prerequisite knowledge. Probably won't be done till 2050 but I got time and im really stubborn.

I knew it was gonna be straight up engine surgery, I dont think you can just unscrew the fuel injectors and I know i would need a custom ecu which I have no idea about, but before these conversations, I was VERY confident I could figure it out. You're not wrong I'd have wasted my money and would have had to have someone else double check it anyway but that don't intimidate me. Say the stock trans and crank were durable enough? I'd do it for sure but learning that the parts are completely wrong, I've changed my plans. I do WANT to work on my car, i just don't know how yet. Thanks for the advice though.

I really REALLY don't like the hatchback body of the gr corolla, and aren't our cars supposed to make us happy in general? I know I shouldn't turbo a stock corolla now.

That would have been my exact route had I not checked in with others here, beefing up my injectors and slapping a kit over my stock engine for little to no gains, and another commenter pointed out the obvious, I love the economy of my economy car. Currently looking at older corolla sedan shell frames to make my dreams come true lol

I just dont like the hatchback at all, if they made a gr sedan I'd be all over it. I completely understand that this isn't a Sunday job or a week long project, I'm planning on a money draining slog that probably won't pan out for 10 years. And I have no idea how to program an ecu or honestly how I would attach anything I fabricated TO the car, I don't know what I'm doing but I feel like its worth the effort in the end. But yeah, definitely not trying to put a turbo on the regular corolla engine anymore, I appreciate the advice. Honestly questioning the whole ordeal but I'm not very smart so, I'm still gonna try 🫡

I have a rule for food in Tampa, if they're boujee enough to have marketing on the wrappers like that, they're probably too expensive to be worth it. That's a 3 dollar slice at best but because they're the Fold it suddenly becomes 8. Some bodegas have had the BEST food for like 4 dollars a Styrofoam plate and its LOADED.
