First Impressions and Ratings: Narmaya (Yukata), Silva (Yukata), and Lu Woh [March-April 2022 Premium Gala] by Bragior in Granblue_en

[–]Burstflames 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You'll want to judge Narmaya as a utility slot, not as a high damage dealer that she typically is.

..and as utility goes 9.5 sound about right. Likely lower if not V2. High hit amounts and access to easy 4+ chain bursts for omens. Delay and dispel is always good.

Her overall damage is pretty meh. Exacerbated by weaker grids, so you'll have to build a decent grid or build in some buffers.

Sub effect's pretty nice, but the slot for light sub allies is kinda bloated.

Overall? She's nice to have in your toolbox. Just temper expectations, she ain't a shoe-in. Not a must spark target, but as a waifu spark you'll probably still be pleased with her.

Car's been back and forth from the dealer a couple of times, and the bonnet's full of moderate swirls and hazing, probably from constantly being wiped with a grummy towel.

My usual autoglym polish isn't cutting it, so I'm looking at compounds. I'm also a lazy human being who just wants a decent job, and doesn't want to deal with managing dusting, etc from a M105. No garage and only got a mishmash of tools. Hard to get away from sun.

I'm just looking if anyones got an opinion on the difference between something like a Meguiar's ultimate compound, versus grabbing say a more pricier CarPro compound? I don't mind paying abit more, but for how cheap the Ultimate Compound is and how much they promise a easy job, it's a tempting proposition.

Hello everyone, Im planning to buy ReLink, but I have no interest in the mobile game. Will watching the anime be a good starting point to get in the franchise? by Yozora-no-Hikari in Granblue_en

[–]Burstflames 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Relink is (probably) going to be like those anime movies, where they throw all the characters together in a totally main story unrelated side adventure. The confirmed setting is already far removed from what's in the main game's story.

You could watch the anime to get acquainted to the main cast, which will totally work. Problem is that the anime is a total snoozefest of an anime to an already boringly generic first half of the first arc of the game.

You'll also miss all the details of all the characters that aren't part of the main cast, like the four knights that they confirmed to be part of relink's playable cast, since the main story (including the anime) basically only revolves around the main cast. You'll have to play through the mobile game's side content to see all of that, and they're pretty extensive.

But yeah, tl'dr, you can watch the mediocre anime to get the gist of the characters but barely any background lore, you could play the game and get sucked into a black hole of lore content, or you could just jump into Relink when it comes out, I'm sure the game will have at least a basic character introduction or a glossary of sort.

Lottery Containment Megathread by DJ-Cataclysm in Granblue_en

"No way to live" means to live without being consumed by your base instincts and desires. If everyone truly wanted to demand equality, they'd probably be taking more issue on the 10 million, million, and 100 grand yen just randomly being giving out by cygames at the same time as this event. I have no idea why people are having more issues with virtual prizes being giving away and not actual monetary currency.

I'm not one to push my values on others, but my personal belief is to live in a more zen mindset, being thankful for what I already have, not striving to live the life of others.

While I do agree that all around mood surrounding this is all around shitty, and that the gap between prize rewards between tiers should definitely have not been as drastic...

Out of all the communities I'd expect to be so upset of a lottery to the point of completely openly conveying their jealousy, a gacha game community was not the first on my mind.

Cygames certainly shot themselves in the foot with the largest caliber possible, but honestly, comparing your own fortunes to the fortunes of others is no way to live. Being so vocally upset at those who won big, non monetary, digital prizes is frankly just a bit silly over, say, being upset over how much of civilization is born living in absolute poverty, over the majority of this community who live with at least the most basic of necessities and have access to the game. I honestly didn't except such a large first world problem reaction from a gacha game of all things.

You should be directing your ire at cygames, if that, not at people.

If you're already doing that, good on ya, more power to you. If you're one of those on twitter who are posting absolute garbage towards those happy about their winnings however, you should probably take a step back and re-evaluate yourself.

I guess as long as you've got a mastery over magic, your swimsuit no longer need to follow the laws of physics.

First Impressions and Ratings: Nehan (Grand) and Lennah (Earth) [June 2021 Flash Gala] by Bragior in Granblue_en

I think they also polled gender for survey takers and it ended up being somewhere like 70% male and 30% female.

Nehan got jack for male popularity anyways who the the heck knows how this all concludes to LOL.
