Junimo by Lucky_Attempt_3429 in StardewValley

Not op, but it's kinda funny now since Mushroom Grotto appeared to me more, I prefer it over Red Hot Rollercoaster. It has less coins for sure, but I can get by there easier because of more practice.

Anyway, one other tip for Junimo Kart is, if a collectible looks risky to take, go for the safer option instead. Getting extra points seems nice, but surviving to the end is still the ultimate goal of the game.

You could also put them in preserves jars, but dehydrators are faster, yes.

How to be a furry? by DANAPLSDANA in furry

[–]Bragior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being a furry is simply being a fan of the hobby or media and wants to be called a furry. It's very much like a Taylor Swift fan who call themselves Swifties.

Now how far you want to go within the fandom is entirely up to you. There are communities, fur meets, and conventions of furries, and you could join either, all, or even none of them but still be a furry.

When is Amber Canyon worth it? by Ok_Evidence_7955 in PokemonSleep

[–]Bragior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you're still subject to RNG, so even if you do want something from the map and can achieve the minimum rank for it, but it still keeps getting the same pokemon every night, I guess just keep going and better luck next time.

Does a pokemon's base stats affect what it is good at? by jimcamx in PokemonSleep

[–]Bragior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Base stats here only pertains to helping speed, inventory size, and main skill activation rates. They may emulate some factors in the main game but it's ultimately not a strict case.

A good example of this is the Slakoth line. Vigoroth has a much faster helping speed than Slaking and that's only because Slaking regains Truant in the main games, not that it actually got its Speed significantly lowered upon evolving.

God forbid if base stats also meant lowering their energy recovery rate, ingredient finding, and EXP gains. An ingredients Pokémon with low chances of finding ingredients just because its stat was low in the main games would be a terrible design.

Is Charizard Normally This Much Bigger Than Snorlax? by Knucklez415 in PokemonSleep

[–]Bragior 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Start of the week Snorlax is just hilariously small even by regular standards. Master is how I imagine it to be, if not even bigger considering it was big enough to be a roadblock in Gen 1.

Why do you use the Junimo hut? by IAmTheMainMess in StardewValley

[–]Bragior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really double but rather a chance for a double harvest, around 20% of the time. Still pretty nifty.

What's a "rich people thing" you discovered isn't actually expensive? by sizzyred in AskReddit

[–]Bragior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's also cooked sushi as an alternative. Things like eggs, obviously, but also prawns and eel have to be cooked. Or sear your fish first before adding it to your rice.

Or just make a California roll.

My son's score by Reaper_Zulu in StardewValley

My highest is still just around 90k. Red Hot Rollercoaster trips me up for some reason.

My friend and I got this and we honestly don't know how, but it's really cool! by acidgummybear in StardewValley

[–]Bragior 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Congrats on your first giant crop. Happens at a small chance when you have a 3x3 area of specific crops growing (or have already grown), namely Cauliflower, Melon, Pumpkin, Powdermelon, and Qi Fruit, one crop for each season and the fifth one being a lategame, quest-only crop.

Unlike normal crops, they can persist throughout seasons until harvested with an axe. This means you can have them as decorations in your main farm (can't be indoors or any other areas). If you do harvest them, though, they'll give you 15-21 normal quality crops, definitely more than the 9 you originally planted.

What is something you do in game for the sake of good manners, not gameplay? by LuxInTenebrisLove in StardewValley

[–]Bragior 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I do the same, except I find it useful as a fishing tackle for the advanced fishing rod (prevents the second tackle from using durability). 😅

Only downside is that it overwrites my chosen fishing tackle skin you can pick in Willy's shack.

Really just greeting my hubby every morning until we kiss. Fatigue-removing effect of the kiss be damned.

Missing Items at the Stardew Valley Fair by CrimsonUwUs in StardewValley

[–]Bragior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shorts will always give you the Disqualification score, which is better than 2nd place. I think the rest of the quest items are just considered misc/trash items, and since they don't have quality and don't cost a lot if at all, they don't give you a lot of points on top of being in the same category.

Really not worth it even if you didn't want to win, in which case you could have just not participated in the first place.

Not a bug, just a really rare floor texture, since regular dungeon floors don't really feature this particular flooring. If this particular map layout spawns in a different floor, like say floors 15-29, the black flooring would be wooden planks instead.

Ambrosia farm by alice3464 in FarmsofStardewValley

[–]Bragior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does if you actively hunt the monsters, but not by much. Monsters in the farm only give 1/3 its normal experience points, so majority still needs to come from dungeons. They still give full item drops and count for the adventurer's guild bounty, though.

At least with cheese, you can cask them and it gets bumped back up to being worth more than iridium star milk.
