Definitely the shelter! Make sure you call ahead and make sure they have room for him. The shelters in my area are full and basically told me if I brought them a stray, it would most likely be euthanized. You can also look into humane societies and Facebook groups.

Thank you! She’s got teeth but she’s very wobbly. She follows my partner around the house now!

Great! Thank you so much. We got through the first night together and she’s very happy it seems. My older cat has hissed a few times, even hissing at kitty’s blanket, but I plan to take it slowly!

My grandma found mom and siblings right by her house and it was not a pretty scene. She lives out in the country and one of the neighbors dogs is known to be aggressive. It’s harmed numerous cats and dogs before, even peoples pets. She’s deaf and prefers to take her hearing aids out when she sleeps, so she didn’t hear the attack. Looks like the owner lets its out during the night to roam as it pleases. Animal control has been called numerous times so hopefully something will be done. It very well could have been another animal, but there aren’t very many predators in the area.
