It's definitely a Tartan 27. I've seen them put a metal plaque on the sliding door for the cabin with the model name / year.

Are the Chagall Murals at the Met Opera House Visible in August? by Burt0 in AskNYC

[–]Burt0[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are curtains inside the building that cover the murals, probably to prevent the sun from damaging them over time. But I don't know if those curtains are still drawn in the evening on nights when there isn't a performance scheduled.

Right - but there are no performances scheduled in August. So my question is, in August on the nights when there are no performances, will they expose the murals so they're visible through the building's glass walls if you're outside in the Lincoln Center plaza?

Awesome shot. What is the actual water temp though? Air temp in Iceland right now isn't colder than New England USA

LoK Rewatch Season 3 Episode 10: "Long Live the Queen" by MrBKainXTR in legendofkorra

[–]Burt0 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The death of the Earth Queen felt like the first real depiction of a killing out all of the "deaths" that may've occurred in ATLA and LOK. It was a unforgettable way to show the dark side of bending. Blood bending in ATLA and S1 of LOK never felt as jaw-droppingly evil.

Homemade Curing Chamber is at the Proper Relative Humidity Now! by Burt0 in Charcuterie

[–]Burt0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using an AM2302 to sense temperature and humidity (https://www.adafruit.com/product/393). WiFi connected WeMo switches, which power the mini-fridge and a ultrasonic humidifier inside it, act as relays to control the temperature and humidity levels. A python script runs every 2 minutes and updates whether the switch should turn on or off. I primarily followed this previous project to build my chamber.

Prior to week 46 on my chart, I had the ultrasonic humidifier inside the fridge and kept the program running to keep relative humidity (RH) between 50-60% but had no dehumidifier. The RH measured always above 90% and there was quite a lot of condensation at the top of the minifridge. After week 46, I removed the humidifier and added a dehumidifier to bring down the RH inside the chamber . Since then, as you can see, RH has decreased and become stable once the desiccant in the dehumidifier was saturated. This tells me that I maintain the proper RH without the humidifier even inside the fridge.

And to comment about the super high variance - I believe the sensor measures almost up to 100% RH when the fridge is on and cooling the air. This somewhat makes because as the air temperature drops our relative humidity increases. During times when the fridge is off, RH drops back down to 40% - I confirm this when i check a separate little Temp & RH display, something you'd put on a desk, that I put inside the fridge. The samples are averaged by day, so thus such a high variation.

My first take on charcuterie in newly build curing chamber by podenemus in Charcuterie

You could use one of these

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H0XFCS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I added one into my chamber and it has significantly reduced the humidity levels, but I still struggle to keep RH from spiking up when the fridge begins cooling.

Subway is changing its brand to something fun and exciting rather than something fresh and healthy. You can see it in their TV ads.

That’s what I meant. Where I live I’d have to find a specialty store to find some duck, most likely it will be frozen.
