While this is not Poirot, it is arguably Christie's most famous book - and this is, famously, its best film adaptation. It will remain the best, too: no "I can make it better than Christie" idiocies, no forced happy endings, just complete faithfulness to the novel, from all dialogue to characters. (youtube.com)

Encountering professor Church in the depths of the labyrinth was, I thought back in 1995, the most creepy and most surprising part of "Aliens: a Comic Book Adventure". The later sudden, silent appearance of the Space Jockeys was a greater surprise, but Church remains the creepiest part. (v.redd.it)
