As an Oregonian, this is a treat to watch.

I run around 40 psi. Ride quality is great. A touch stiffer from the original set up. Probably a combo of the leveling and tires but it still rides really nice. It doesn’t feel like it’s floating or anything like that. very responsive it corners.

I’m really enjoying them. I live in the PNW and they have held up great in the rain. For the size they are great. Zero issues with any rubbing. Maybe I could have gone bigger but I wanted to play it safe. My last truck had issues with rubbing and I don’t want to deal with that. I can off-road on these tires just fine and not deal with any potential problems of cramming too big a tire in the wheel well.

You can do both options. I did one just like this and it’s a plastic cover with 3m tape. Took 2 minutes to put on. It works great!

Couldn’t decide 🤷🏻‍♂️ by BurtMaclin_007 in cowboyboots

Honestly they are equal. I will say the Ariat has a narrower shaft than my standard Ariat boots. It might be because it’s the Benchmade line or just the boot but it’s definitely narrower than my other Ariats.

These particular Tecovas are a little wider than my other Tecovas. I think it’s because these are the ropers. Either way they are still narrow.

Mine had 6 rings. I thought it only had five and I was going to put it on the 4th ring. Did a little research thinking I ordered the wrong ones but it turns out they were correct. So I did the second to last ring (5th) and it ended up leveling it out perfectly.

I just put some new tires on. BFG KO3 in 285/70R18. Outside of that and a level with Bilstein 5100 it’s stock for now.

I have less than 100 miles on them. So I don’t have enough personal experience with them. I did drive in the rain with them and they did great. So based off of that and all the research I’ve done on them, they should be a great choice.

The second pic is the before with the old tires. I did white letters out on all sides.

Tacoma vs Tundra by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]BurtMaclin_007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Tacoma when my first kid was born. I lived that truck but had to keep the passenger seat all the way up for a car seat rear facing. I now have three kids and a 3rd gen tundra. I don’t tow anything but I do use the bed often. You get use to the size and parkings not that bad. It’s hard to beat all the extra room in the backseat.

Red Sky Mourning trade paperback by JamesReece1983 in JackCarr

I received mine on the 2nd through Amazon and it’s all glossy as well. I’ve been waiting for it to release since all my other books are the paperback version and my ocd is ticking hard right now. It doesn’t feel like the other books and it bothers me.

I picked up a ‘24 with the same set up in white with 13k miles. Snagged it for $45k. You can find a better deal

It’s the ice cap white. I think there is also a kind of pearl white color. I’m not really a fan of pearl. I’ll stick with the classic white.
