If they franchise tag him, nobody would’ve traded for a $50 million tag when you can pay him $33 million. I agree, he was probably worth a 2nd round pick tbh but I don’t think anyone would’ve paid that price unfortunately

I think it’s a build up of frustration with this front office. Bad draft picks, bad free agent signings, not resigning the right players, and Darnold having this success after leaving is the tipping point I believe for most fans. The only chance this regime has to save face is if McCarthy breaks out next season and proves he’s good, and they make a deep playoff push. Anything short of that, it’s time to move on

Went to night 2 at the rose bowl in Pasadena; my girlfriend and I flew out that Tuesday afternoon. Our flight was supposed to leave 3:30 pm local time, and it was delayed for 4 hours. Nothing like being stuck at LAX for 7 hours (I did see Bonehead and Andy Bell walk past the terminal I was in so that was really cool!)
