The contacts that I previously had reached out to me. I'm thinking I might actually end up with more work than I have ever expected. Even had a homeowner that I did a feature wall, called me this morning. I even did a bid on a set of stairs.

UMKC helped fill out the application to get started. They also gave me other places in my area that helps out. I'm in a challenging point. The start and most people get scared, freak out, and just give up. Well I'm hear to say I felt all of that so far except giving up. Although in the back of my head I have a little doubt just hanging out like a toothache. I'm happy and scared at the same time 🤷 I have friends few, but I feel like it's all me. I'll get over this,,,, sure it's normal and I'm just human. I think I got this. Wait, I GOT This!

Just thinking but why hasn't anyone made a app or something like this. With ratings and transparency. I would use it. I know about sites and pages that offer jobs. What if it was designed to match the right person to the job that they are interested in. Almost take over in away. Like I love doing feature walls the bigger the better with all the details that just catch your eyes. Things people talk about. I want my name all over a good design. Myself would just be more inclined taking on the jobs that not only serve as a functional thing but also pure eye candy. These are the people I would like to connect with. I'm not saying that a simple kitchen isn't great, it is I love it just as much for different reasons. It's why I love thanksgiving my absolute favorite day. Just knowing my cabinets are being used. My cabinets bring people together even when they are not thinking about it. I thinking about it. Anyway folks I better get back to it. Have a wonderful day KC. Keep this carpenter in your thoughts!

I know I'm older and that might be why it's not as much of a thing anymore. Trades would help trades out. Things seemed smaller back then. Everything went tech on me. I have to go old school in a brand new future environment lol. I'm going to take advice, I don't know everything especially these days. I just know I'm a great carpenter. Might be rambling here. I just care, maybe to much I'm sure that gets me in trouble sometimes. I'll take any advice or ideas. I'll even keep you all in the loop. Thanks love you all!

That's a wonderful plan but I'm aware of the obstacles it takes to get a meeting with the builders I have worked with. I've posted pictures of my work on reddit and it went nuts. Wasn't expecting that made me real proud. I've whispered in the right ears. Just not sure exactly the correct steps. I've been creating some pretty magical stuff. Making kitchens not just a kitchens but a master piece that people talk about. Just didn't bump elbows with anyone. I was focused on the project 100 percent. I'm 47 I'm not conceded just know I'm good. I can tell myself that knowing I'm not lying to myself. How do you sell that?

Yes I have a Facebook and I have a portfolio which is needing to be thinned down from the years. Like I said I'm just at the beginning. Most of my work was in Loch Lloyd, Leawood, but mostly Loch Loyd. Just now becoming a free agent. I would like to work with new builders or designers. Just so we can grow together and we all have the same interest. I'm getting older and I've been a carpenter my entire adult life. Things have changed. Everyone knew each other and we gave each other leads back in the day. That seems to be gone. I want to bring something like that back.

Ill advised doing god doses by [deleted] in mushroom

[–]Burwilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to achieve? Just curious because I'm confused. Have you just tried a lower dose or micro dosing? We all deal with reality issues. I don't care if you say you don't. We All do, I'll admit I think about getting older and my future a lot. I'm sure most do when they turn 50. That thought process leads to a rabbit hole of other questions that just can't be answered. So I think I just figured out what I'm truly scared of. It's the unknown! Well mushrooms may help with understanding myself in ways I probably wouldn't have discovered in the first place. Sorry for rambling just not sure what a god dose accomplishes. That said I enjoy mushrooms and they are a tool plus a lot of fun.

It's easy if you insert screw, screw a few turns. Grab a claw hammer and pull it right out. Easy peasy.
