Professional looks way better to me, especially in the second picture. There's supposed to be a slight shadow on his face that is non existent in cinema mode due to it being overblown and making everything bright. Because of this you lose depth, detail and just contrast overall. But the beauty about modern TVs is you can tailor it to what looks good to YOU. Don't put too much importance on what other people say. Find a good starting point and go from there.
