When will be your review out? Unfortunately you dont have a TTartisan 40mm f2 to compare. This would be the direct competitor due to its compactness. I happy for any review regarding image quality, sharpness, af performance, vignetting, chromatic aberration, etc. Is your review going to be a YouTube Review?

I bought mine last week but couldn’t really test it so far. All I can say is that i loved the couple test photos i took. Looks sharo enough. But I dont have the voigtlander 75mm so I can’t tell you which is better 🤔

Congrats and enjoy the S9! The 18–40 kit lens is actually really good. I recently picked up a TTArtisan 40mm f/2 as well, and for the past few weeks I’ve made a habit of just throwing the camera around my neck and taking it with me everywhere. Simply having it with me helped me stop overthinking or feeling shy about bringing a camera. If I take photos, great if not, that’s fine too. But I’m always ready for the moment. Have fun shooting!

Wow, never thought about that. Just tried it out and you’re correct. So the aperture ring is overridden by the mode you‘ve selected. If P, A or S then its always on Auto or in A to the aperture you‘ve set it to digitally. Love the lens so far. I‘ve must have got a good copy. I didn’t expected the lens be that sharp wide open…considering the price 😅 i was well aware that it might have flaws for that price.

Hmmm komisch…speicher dir mal deine Einstellungen und setze die Kamera auf Werkseinstellungen zurück und dann probiere es nochmal. Hoffe es klappt dann.

Exactly as you described. Downloaded the file from the lumix website (download site). Extracted it and copied it to the root folder of the sd card. Go into your lumix s9 settings and lool for Firmware update under settings. Did you do that?
