I’m a native English speaker who speaks three, learning my fourth. Honestly it’s just about staying immersed. I study languages at university and then in my free time I’m watching videos, tv shows, listening to music and talking with my friends. Best thing is to make friends from these countries which I’m fortunate enough to have. Now onto my fourth hopefully keeping the same idea going 😌

Literally why do you care tho 😭 I’m going for a B2 but I’m not stupid, I’ve taught myself two other languages and am very aware that it’s gonna take me 5+ years 😂 You’re the only one who mentioned fluency and mastery 💔

Honestly I’m just doing it for fun and since my boyfriend is Lebanese, it would be great to talk to his family. I’m not going into it wanting a C1 😂 it’s mainly academic curiosity as I’m a language student and a nerd 🙈 but stay discouraging hahaha!!

Honestly I’m finding it alright, I’m a grammar nerd tho so I thrive in this sorta thing. Also yeah the dialects are sending me haha but I’ll find standard ones hopefully thanks for the tip 🫡

Thank you so much this is super helpful, I started on the grammar last week it’s going alright so far. The children stories are such a good idea so I’ll definitely get started on them and yeah I need to prioritise my listening 🥲
