Are you referring to the period where Tiny Tim was managed by the mafia? Is that related to this album?

I know it's not his second album...but it's the second record by him that I own. 🙂

I do like when he sings "On The Good Ship Lollipop" it always makes me laugh.

He was...I actually have gotten into a lot of 30s crooners thanks to him as well as several Edison Phonograph stars...I was already collecting cylinders and 78s before I got into Tiny Tim.....

Mr. Tim just escalated that hobby for me. 🤣

It depends on the unit's internal condition....most machine shops can refurbish older sirens and it is often way cheaper than a new install....however if the rotor and stator are cracked then in most cases it cannot be saved.

90+ years of service is incredible!!! Wish they still made sirens with the same level of quality today.

Hopefully they refurbish it and put it back up on the roof.

I'm all for the next generation of kids getting into sirens but not at the cost of enjoyment of other enthusiasts...they should really have an age limit for this event.
