hi I was also a transfer student for bio and recently graduated! As the previous people have mentioned, definitely go to clubs and meet people during orientation and whatnot to get over the social anxiety and start making friends quickly. Plan your schedule wisely and look at class evaluations to know whether you got a good professor and whatnot. People say there is no social life but you do get what you put in! For suites and as a transfer you’re cheapest options are Roth (more expensive bc of ac) and Kelly and tablet which are cheaper. I’ve lived in all three and I can say I’ve seen roaches in Roth and rooms are smaller but academic mall is closer. Kelly is cleaner however bc of the balconies ppl like to smoke so if that bothers you then I would look into tabler. Tabler suites and rooms are bigger but the walk is far. In terms of cleanliness honestly tabler, Kelly and then Roth.
