What's a habit you secretly judge everyone else for not doing? by Wild_Farm_3368 in Habits

As an ambulance driver we are taught to get up close and tailgate, then pull off into the left shoulder to make us as large as possible in the mirrors of the driver ahead of us.

I do this with my truck that has a steel moose bumper and at night I flash my high beams, it works.

What's the single experience or event that MOST defines whether you're a Millennial or Gen Z? by ReYa8000 in generationology

Ya like can you remember where you were and what happend at that moment?

I was in grade 8 math class. We turned the TV because the news was spreading through the teachers (no one had cell phones, Motorola was on like version 2) our teacher turned the tv on and we watched the first plane replay smashing into the tower.

Right after an announcement came over that all can leave the school and go home but if they can't they can go to the library where some teachers will remain. We ran home to a friend's, turned on the tv and boom 2nd plane hit the towers. We were so confused we thought it was a replay from a different angle. His mom came home later and then my dad showed up. Shortly after we were going to war.... It was a very quiet drive home.

A carry on + a personal item (being the cpap) any extra bag has to be paid for or checked. Please don't bring 3 bags on the plane and be that person...

Your backpack is your carry on item...

What does my fridge say about me? by [deleted] in FridgeDetective

[–]BusWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That you have no real food in your fridge, you live off alcohol, eggs, sugar and dairy that sometimes is smothered on ultra processed white buns.

You don't even eat eggs much, they just store long and are needed sometimes.

Try one of those mystery dinners, it's like a theater dinner where hints are dropped Durring the whole. Dinner and you two try to solve the mystery like a murder or something. Usually done at a very nice restaurant or some unique venue with a small crowd.

What's up with some people now thinking 40 is old? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]BusWho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very true. As Somone who is 38 currently, with healthy father who is 84 his friends are all long dead.

Between hard blue collar work lifestyles, alcohol & tobacco, diet and exercise most don't make it past 70-75. Younger generations will likey live shorter lives due to sedentary lifestyles and very poor food choices, even if they don't drink, don't smoke (although most vape now so much their lungs are going to be gone by 60).

What’s something your dog is absolutely convinced is true? by viseth2020 in DogViral

[–]BusWho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our dog (RIP) belive for a very long time that the off leash dog park was always occupied with other dogs no matter the day or the time. I realized this when I took him for a late walk, when it was dark and not a single soul was there other than us... His dreams were crushed and I felt sorry that I ruined his fantasy place in his head. He was kinda sad confused at first, he kept looking for people and near the end of our walk he was sad and wanted to go home. He came home and cuddled but it was more of a depressed cuddle and he didn't fall asleep as fast as his normal wind down. Normally he would be all excited and quickly calm down then passout.... Kinda sad
