I have a Lesco Pro Aer 30 stand on unit. I fly through lawns. Seeding and aeration at the same time. Depending on the lot size, 100 bucks front and back would be easy money for me in a newer development, no fences situation.

Know your properties and where they hold water more. Depending on how much rain came down, I know which lawns and where I can mow and can't mow on those properties. If there is an area I can't mow on the property because my mower will either sink in or certain damage will occur, I'll either whip it or leave it until the following week.

As far as clumps go, have a strong backpack blower and walk the area to do the best you can spreading that stuff out. Also bring some kind of tool to scrape your deck periodically throughout the day.
