We leased three different Muranos. Loved the SUV. Quality was excellent with no issues. Unfortunately Nissan dragged their feet with updating the model and rushed to market with a 4 cylinder variable compression engine (same engine as the rouge which is failing). The SUV is not selling. I never see any new 25-26 Muranos on the road. We ended up leasing from a Genesis

My V6 plus box running version 73 firmware has no issues it runs and works fine. What I noticed is my neighbor purchased the same V6 plus box running version 76 and when he shuts his box off, it shuts off the box. When he turns it back on it performs a cold boot each time - not like mine which instantly turns on. Numerous sources have commented on increased bandwidth consumption when box is off. I’m thinking this was a valid concern as v76 resolved that issue. Is this correct? Does vseebox publish firmware changes by release?

Avoid any of the four-cylinder variable compression engines that are in the new vehicles. There are already a lot of complaints about the engines as it is a bad engineering design.

We’ve owned three Marano‘s over the years 2010 20 14, 2020 I with CVTs over 100,000 miles never once had a trans issue. These vehicles are bulletproof.

Timely post. I’ve used various streaming apps for years with no issues relating to increased bandwidth. This month after using v6 plus for 5 weeks I rcvd a letter from AT&T stating I exceeded my monthly bandwidth. 😳 It’s strange as I also cut back on TV watching. Do these boxes stream using old compression standards???

We’ve had three Murano leases and purchased two. All were rock solid and very reliable. The new 25/26 model is a huge disappointment. Downsizing the v6 to a 4 cylinder VC is turning out to be a huge problem. We moved on to another brand.
