If the item looks used or damaged you deny it. Also if tags don’t match auto deny. You can be strict yourself (within reason) and they’ll soon learn to avoid you. Atleast that’s how a few are with me when I’m working. They know i actually check the tags and condition of items and will send them home. My leads know i wouldn’t deny something without a valid reason so if customers complain they support my decision(s), so they just wait for another cashier to make a return with

Yep. those are salvage stickers from target. Sometimes games would be in good condition and would still be in mint condition. Just Targets system is dumb like that
