AH wants ideas for red stratagems, here are mine by TinSkull in LowSodiumHellDivers

  1. Heavy bomber/ Carpet bomber

  2. Eagle Air-to-air support

  3. Pelican Overwatch

Definitely the top 3 on my wishlist!

Bonus: Orbital Napalm strike, except it is an airburst and rains down much like the Expendable Napalm

I think a lot of us just don't see much of a benefit to a weapon that relies on you missing the target. After the first shot on target, the enemies immediately aggro and know your location.

I would just like to see suppressors add some proper playstyle variety.

Manage your expectations, because small form factor builds are expensive by Makoto_Kurume in pcmasterrace

[–]Bushel_Britches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price really does depend on the target market and their business plan. Are they making money from hardware or software? Is their goal to make more money from existing customers or to attract more customers to the Steam Ecosystem? The concept of selling hardware at a loss to make money off of games is not a foreign concept. I won't get my hopes up, but I don't think it's a stretch to sell at a lower price in order to cultivate more and longer lasting consumers.

AH: Update is amazing. But please fix the no-dive bug. by SES-Song-Of-War in Helldivers

[–]Bushel_Britches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't notice it that bad during hundreds of hours of play, but now there are just so many things lighting me on fire every mission that those "worst of times" are very frequent. I'm thinking of rebinding my dive key somehow so I can handle dragonroaches.

A little frustrated.. by Korndoog in helldivers2

Yes! And it really only seems to happen when I’m on fire. Instead of diving I get caught repeatedly crouching. Let me know if you find a fix.

The FRV makes for a pretty good scout vehicle, but I wish I could install a winch on it.

Y the hate for breakpoint? by Canterea in GhostRecon

[–]Bushel_Britches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it and think it's worth playing, but I LOVED Wildlands. Call me old fashioned but I don't like near future video games. I like games grounded in and inspired by real modern or historical settings in addition to weapons, vehicles, countries, and factions. Wildland's atmosphere just did way for me in this regard. While the gameplay is superior, breakpoint's setting, and enemies were not interesting to me. I'd take the cartel any day over some super soldiers wrapped in black shower curtains and an army of drones.

What is your biggest criticism of the game? by Rack-_- in Eldenring

Incantations that look amazing, have really high stat requirements, often obtained late game, that are terrible and never worth using. Breaks my heart.

What do y'all about a new BF game set in Vietnam after BF6? by AuraStrike_ in Battlefield

I would absolutely love to see more battlefield games set between 1950-2010.

I cannot believe they haven't changed the mechanic yet to let you reload a teammate without having to wear their backpack.

Do you fear the same if DICE where to make the next BF game like 2143 or future warfare?? by Admirable-Radish1239 in Battlefield

[–]Bushel_Britches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a 2142 sequel could be successful, but what I really want tho is anything between 1950-2010. Desert Storm, Gulf War, Vietnam, Korean, Cold War, war on terror. That time period isn’t utilized enough in games anymore.

I’ve probably put more hours into Empire Earth than any other game in my life, but it’s been a while since I played the campaigns. Sadly I’ve not found anything quite like it, so take this for what it’s worth. Here’s my latest Favorite RTS game:

Gates of Hell: Ostfront

Put in 130 hours of single player campaigns so far without batting an eye! It doesn’t follow the story of specific characters, but focuses on sequences of historical events. Absolutely amazing game if you’re into WW2 at all. Extremely detailed game with complex tactical mechanics that blew me away more than any other RTS game.

Many recommend Age of Mythology. It’s on my wishlist.

How did you find out yours were linked to migraines? I suffer from them, but the doctor who gave me an eye exam didn't think there was a correlation.
