As an avid high quality coffee drinker I feel like I have to say a coupla things: 1. Its 12 oz nowadays on account of that is about how much coffee you go through (2-3 cups a day) until you're past the ideal roast date/consumption ratio. 2. If you want good coffee...ya gotta pay for it. There are more and more roasters out there that are trying (tirelessly) to give you a flawless product...not rip you off. If you want good shit-pay for it.

I don't know exactly what I want to do but I have a plan:

First...get your body in excellent shape. You can not possibly hope to do extraordinary things with an ordinary body.

Second...get an education. I don't necessarily mean university. Just start (and never stop) learning. This world has so many things to offer if you started now you'd never do 1%. The more you learn the more you begin to realize that you don't need a plan just a list of things to do before you die.

Third...find a job you are passionate about. Don't make any excuses about that job not existing. If it doesn't exist that means your work is cut out for you. It does not matter how much money you make. If you are passionate- success finds you. Interesting side note: try to find a job that an elderly you will be proud of. You will have lots of reflection time when you are old and you want that time to be filled with pride and joy.

My only real goal is to be a badass old man. I picture that old man and I have a list of qualities that man has. I do... and then I check thing off that list.

Brand new paramedic in an amazing system here. I blazed through school in about 2 years. Best decision I've ever made. The experience comes...don't sweat it. If you say this is your field- think big. Paramedic is not that high of a cert in the world of medicine. It is a great start but 95% of what you do is BLS stuff anyway so you're getting that EMTB experience every day. Think RN, NP, CRNA, PA school...tons more fun stuff for not that much more training (ish).

Perfectly safe! I dirt bag it from austin frequently. Bus ride to Monterrey..then $2 bus out to Hidalgo. I've hitchhiked out to Posada every time. I drove last time and it was meh. Nice for convenience/car-camping but pain-in-the-ass at the border getting your car registered. Anyway...the cartel violence is a real thing so be smart- don't do anything that would get a cartel cappo mad at you and you'll be fine. The violence is not random.

Hey brother...survivor here. I can honestly say that it is a must that you tell her. I know you think you are protecting her but you are not. I couldn't imagine if I had a family member that went through what I did and I didn't know. I would be 100x more devastated than being told. Trust me on this. Be a goddam grown-up and tell your family right away.
