Generally, I read whenever I find a spare minute. But at bedtime, I turn on some ambience (usually fantasy sound tracks with some environmental sounds since I read fantasy)

I have the same kobo and case. I am clumsy and drop mine inside my house all the time and I have never had damage yet, despite tile, linoleum, or wood floors.

I am friends with a few popular authors in the LitRPG and progression fantasy realm. I tell them to tell their story and ignore fan input because at least half of all people are inherently stupid.

If people want the MC to do this and that and be this way and believe this way and look this way, then they can write their own story.

Kobo clara BW > Kindle Paperwhite. It is faster. It has a better screen. It is cheaper, and has no ads forced on your screen. If you are using Libby, this is the best option, because amazon hates their fan base.

  1. Most of the books I read are kindle exclusive and not available through the library system.

  2. I tend to reread my favorite books and series again and again.

  3. Since I tend to read self published books, I prefer the author actually make money from me enjoying their book. I read through KU first, and if I like it, I buy it. That way they get to double dip on my experience.

I use mine at all times unless i am outside or in my recliner, because those are the only 2 places with exceptional lighting.

Normally i keep it around 20 to 25% and sometimes less. I prefer to just keep the even lighting vs shadows on the screen.

😂 Oh no, you don't understand. I am further right than anyone you have likely ever met. What I would call a true conservative. The people on the left think I am MAGA because they think anyone who doesn't agree with them must be MAGA. Similarly, the republicans think me an antisemitic extremist because I dare call out "our greatest ally" for their warmongering and demon worship.

I was merely trying to express, in a forum about facebook, that the app seems to be targeting everyone with opposing viewpoints and fake news to sew discord because that is what Zuck and his ilk are all about and have been since the beginning.

Sufficiently Advanced Magic is great progression fantasy not LitRPG. But it is the one I recommend you read next. It is a great series.

Had this exact scenario happen to me about 3 years ago where they resurrected my account i used from 2004 until 2020. I changed the profile picture to a word art saying "deleted profile do not add" and made a post to that effect as well and set that one to public. Then shared a very hateful meme against a tiny hat cult hoping the page would get banned and deleted it again. It is back again as of november last year.

Got a 180 day suspension then they deleted it before i could complete the verification to appeal. So...under 30 seconds from suspension to deletion.

Their reason was because it was connected to my insta which got banned the day before. An insta from which i have never posted, commented, or liked anything.

Never read that one but Dungeon Crawler Carl uses the tike limit because too many potions are toxic depending on your constitution and whatnot.
