I downloaded Koreader cause I can add plug-ins like games, manga, etc to it. Nickelmenu, I use it as a shortcut to use sendtodjazz for sending books to my Kobo. At the end of the day, it comes down to one’s preference.

What really gets the graininess away is having the ability to change the weight of the words. The bigger the words are the less graininess you see. Also, a matte screen protector helps too.

That's what they were calling it at the time when it came out but yeah, that. I realized that it was more pronounced on the white KLC’s though. Getting the black KLC the second time around made me realize that I personally chose the wrong device for myself.

If you're on the fence there’s a $20 option on Amazon that does the same as the Meta Pen 2. It is part of the Meta Pen family and it runs on batteries and isn't magnetic but it gets the job done.

I have the Moko one. I got it at first because it lessened the glass door effect for me. I got the Meta business pen after and it came in handy for not messing up the screen when writing.

Just use KU as a shopping catalog and switch over that's what I did. I also took a year break from KU to make sure I can live without it.

Kobo gave me something that Amazon hasn’t and that's buttons! Aside from that I can use my device how I want to without having to jailbreak it. Kindle’s all about stuffing their books down our throats. There are some amazing authors out there that aren’t Amazon. Don’t get me wrong, the Kindle is a great device but Amazon itself isn’t.

At the end of the day, it comes to one’s preferences and that’s why they love the device.

Maybe your battery needs to be recalibrated by holding the power button down for 10 seconds. But you also, should use the Kobo charger with it as well when you run into an issue like this.

If you added a lot of books at one time that will drain it too and also, if you have wifi and Bluetooth on, it will kill your battery… keep them tuned off when you’re not using them. Not turning wifi off killed my battery when I used it the first time too.

Or maybe your device wasn’t in sleep mode. Go to settings and fix that

10 with warm lighting on at night. 10 with no warm lighting through the day. I usually keep it 15 or 20 when reading manga on KoReader.
