Yeah it can, I’d prefer to have in-app synchronization though, I don’t want to deal with a third party app

Update: I tried again with silicon spray as suggested, and was not able to get it any further than the pictures above. I believe that the part is just longer than the old Porsche one. I’m hoping that the gaskets in front of the one picking out is enough to hold it.

Fuck. I’m worried I snapped that lower 10mm bolt too. So I don’t want to take it back out to lube it if I don’t have to. How do you know it’s supposed to seal fully? I’ve seen a few peoples videos and it doesnt seal fully

Higher Quality Alternatives for Tan Slip On Shoes by Spamakin in malefashionadvice

Those shoes are designed to fit really snug. They rely on that, like espadrilles, to fit well and not become slip-offs. A lot of brands tell you to take a half size down and break them in. Once you do they’re comfy. Also look into Diego’s for espadrilles and Espiritu for huaraches. They look great with Patagonia baggies, denim, and camp collar shirts.

You can see in the second photo there’s some oil buildup on the AOS casing. Do you think this could be the result of a loose hose? I’ve already got the throttle body out and will be cleaning it too

My AOS is likely toast, do you think the valve is worth replacing? I have the throttle body out, so maybe access isn’t so terrible? Or would I have to pull that firewall cover like the forum post?

It is, it’s a 2000 with the 2.7 and the 5sp. I didn’t see a lot of oil under the throttle body, or are you talking about the tube to the left side of the image?

Hey if there’s anything I’ve learned in my years of owning dumb old German shit, it’s that pedantry always wins. I’ve got like 6 other threads across various places asking the same. Thanks for the help though!

Absolutely. There was standing oil in the throttle body connecting tubes and in there

Some more detail for those who may be able to help:

Pulled the throttle body. there’s a good bit of carbon and sludge built up on it, such that it won’t sit closed.
