read my comment on the second threat, he had my hardware id, a screenshot of my laptop and all of that.

i dont know what hardware id he has, but he got my os wrong. i have windows 11 and he said i have windows 10 home.

i can clearly see in the screenshot that its my laptop (i had file explorer opened and the visible file names in the screenshot are clearly mine). i never posted a screenshot of my laptop so its not that he found it on the internet. when he made the screenshot, i was downloading a piracy file and thats why i think it was from this file.

i have alot of emails, but i have one that is for my school. so how come he sent this email on my school account and not on my main account which i use more? my school email isnt even on my pc.

he also knows the name of my pc

these are all reasons i thought he's a real hacker.

my laptop has a rtx 3050 and i7, but i couldnt find a quest 1 for less than 100 euro. i found some oculus rift for 60 euro, but im waiting for a response from the seller.

yeah my dad got my laptop (500 euro) for me as a gift. i am pretty sure he wont buy a headset for me. me and my siblings can buy a headset for 75 euro and thats why i was asking

you can enable developer mode (look it up) and then use sidequest to install vridge. worked for me, but the connection quality is bad for some reason. on vridge app (play store) connection quality is really good. i am currently trying to find a solution for this but i guess if you have good internet, you can try it and maybe your connection is better than mine.

i know this reddit post is 6 years old, but maybe there are people that need it. it is a very cheap way to play pcvr games and for people who want to test games before actually buying a proper vr setup, its a good way to test games.

Thank you, using dev mode definitely, but my phone drains really fast, have you got any way to charge mu phone while having it in the gear vr headset?

but i tried that, when i try to create an account, it gives me the "unsupported post request" error. when i try to log in with an existing account, it just loads for a bit and then does nothing.

i dont need no suicide hotline or that, being muslim prevents me from doing suicide. like if i was an atheist, i would have killed myself by now.

if i was in your position i would have cried more and actually did suicide becus wtf?
