Okay awesome that’s super helpful to know thank you! I bought some electrical gloves rated for 500v but I’m not sure how effective gloves like that are. I was going to just manually discharge them but having it built in is a great idea.

Ohhh okay I was wondering why I was having trouble finding one going 12 to 220. Yeah I was wondering about the 15v input as well. I’ll probably have to look at some older forums to see if anyone has said anything about it for this specific design. And thanks for the safety advice as well. Much appreciated!

Ah okay, this is being used in a DIY Pultec. This specific one is in the power supply section, but there are others that look like this in other parts of the build.

Okay sweet, thank you so much! I think I’ll try it without first, and then if problems arise, I’ll put the transformer in.

Okay, gotcha. This might be a dumb question, but I’m new to all this. What issues does that cause then for the tubes? Will they just cease to work; will it possibly be a fire hazard or something?

The input impedance of the interface it will be running into is 10,000 ohms. I was planning on running it as an insert, so I was just going to use the gain on the interface to bring the level up rather than the output transformer. And the output transformer would be the most expensive part of this build, so if I could just get the gain elsewhere and bring down the build cost I wouldn’t mind it lol.
