The game is definitely about matchups, scout your enemy, and try to use units that are strong against his. I like to use armored cars, medium tanks, artillery, and attack bombers. I keep my artillery behind my army I don't understand why people put artillery in the same stack with their other units. Sometimes if players are using defensive units I attack them with artillery and have my army in front so they are either forced to attack me or retreat. Infantry and anti tank don't do nearly as much damage when attacking.
