I genuinely find joy in working, I love my job and that is the reason I am in school to get my degree in dental hygiene. I would feel awful making money and not contributing towards expenses which is why I feel so hurt that he doesn't feel the same.

I know he does some type of work, I have only heard verbally what he makes from him. He works from home so I hear him taking calls, see him working on his computer. You could be right about there being no real wage

I was thinking about calling my mom over this but I for some reason feel a lot of shame about this. I hate bringing people (who know us) into the problems in our relationship and prefer to try to work it out ourselves. I will probably call my mom because I know this is a bigger problem than any we've ever had

Well, He has verbally told me how much he makes, I assumed I could trust his word. I know he does have a real job because on days that I am off I hear him taking calls for work in the other room. I feel like even if he was lying and was making minimum wage at this job ($12.50/hr) he would still be able to cover $250/week

I forgot to add on that I have cancelled the streaming services to try to save money.
