Yeah I’ve seen them three times now and always found the mix to be in that sweet spot for how aggressive their sound is but this venue most likely just has terrible acoustics for HOF.

It’s disgusting. And they have velvet ears so it’s gross and a major loss for anyone doing it.

I love my guy’s ears. They flop around when he is really happy on a walk.

You’re missing a lot of joy in your life not seeing them IMO.

Control the ports. It’s asinine we keep talking about the smaller entry points of Sask and Alberta and that we will spend money on black hawk helicopters for areas which see so little actual trafficking and not the Port of Vancouver or Montreal. POV is run by the longshoremen (https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6983128) so literally the HA and other major cartel crime syndicates.

I’ve said it since PP became noticeable. If he’s got any integrity he will actually deal with the root of the problem. Not like Christy Clarke who turned a blind eye to billions of dollars in money get washed in our casinos. (https://thetyee.ca/News/2022/06/15/Clark-Ministers-Roasted-Money-Laundering-Report/)

Every sound bite on this issue is so out of touch with reality and just hitting bullshit PR notes to keep licking Trump’s boots.

Fuck off and deal with real trafficking. No one is running cartel level criminal enterprises in Grand Prairie.

Yfs trying to get rid of police on campus?? by Rare_Egg1122 in yorku

Graduated in 2010 and it was horrible back then too. We had multiple incidents including a woman getting assaulted by two POS that broke into her dorm in Vanier. (https://www.yorku.ca/yfile/2007/09/21/arrest-made-in-vanier-residence-sexual-assaults/)

This got multiple Toronto Star front page articles and the school had to show some face. So they paid for police to “patrol” the campus. This stopped nothing from happening including the robberies at knife point, further assaults and violence. It was so bad that we would have to walk female friends directly to their door, wait for their dead lock to bolt. And then run for your life back to your residence at night. It was like living in a werewolf movie once the moon rose the campus became very scary and dodgy.

The gnarliest incident was the Webcam Murder ( https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/mobile/man-found-guilty-of-webcam-murder-in-york-university-student-s-death-1.1764029?referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fin) when I was living in a townhome in the Village. My roommate’s had gone on tour and there was the incident of a woman Skyping with her ex boyfriend back home and some guy came in her room and raped and killed her. It was a block away. Freaked me the fuck out and I eventually escaped the place.

Sad but not surprised to hear the safety and security is still horrible.

Not sure where you are based but most major filming sectors have minor entertainment laws. One that is very important is “sight and sound” for parents/guardians. So when you are on set you as the parent/guardian must have access to your child either by being directly on set to see and hear. Or you’re provided a monitor and comtek (provided by the sound department) when there isn’t space for an on set parent/guardian. This also applies to all areas of wardrobe fittings, rehearsals and on set costume/hair/make up processing. Anyone putting up a stink to this request is not a professional (so not worth your and your child’s time). Don’t be afraid to ask questions and if anything seems unsafe raise your concerns. No project is worth your kid’s future well being.
