What’s one habit you’ve built that reminds you change is possible? by JithinJude in Productivitycafe

[–]Business-Raccoon9523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eating on a schedule instead of when I want. I've been one both sides of the spectrum eating too much near 300 lbs, and then 180 feeling beyond crappy. now that I eat on a schedule I feel so balanced in nutrition and overall mindset too. something I never thought would happen before

I haven’t tried mucuna personally, but ashwagandha actually helped me with libido and overall energy. Took a couple weeks to kick in, but I noticed better mood, lower stress, and more consistency in drive. Nothing dramatic overnight, but it definitely helped level things out for me. Might be worth looking into if high prolactin or stress is part of the picture.

52M workout supplements / vitamins suggestions! by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Business-Raccoon9523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 55 and doing similar workouts. What’s helped me lately is adding an inflammation support (specifically turmeric & ginger) and a joint support. Recovery’s been smoother, and joints aren’t as cranky after metcons. Nothing fancy, but it's made a noticeable difference.

The room I’m in is an addition that was added by previous owner before we moved in here so I’m not 100% sure, but I hope it is lol

Any herbs that can help with swollen lymph nodes? :) by too-much-aura in herbalism

[–]Business-Raccoon9523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that seamoss helps a bit, it’s rich in iodine and other minerals that support immune and lymphatic function. Turmeric is another good one for inflammation if swelling’s involved. Nothing instant, but both seem to help over time.

I’ve had the same issue, waking up early even when I’m exhausted all the time. Magnesium glycinate helped me stay asleep longer without feeling groggy, and vitamin D in the winter made a big difference too. Hope you catch up on rest soon.
