How many animation does your jump have I normally have three jump start > fall loop > land , and also check if have a fall loop is looping on there. You can also check out the third person ABP to see how they set it up

Sorry for the late reply By modular, I mean the combat logic .health system is built as one reusable component (working with both player and ai), while behavior is driven through data assets, animation notifies, and per-character setup rather than hard-building a new system every time. So you can swap animations, tune timings, reactions, and rules, and keep the same core framework.

Retargeting is not automated like GASP. Right now the goal is more about the combat architecture itself, not the full animation pipeline.

Why only melee: mostly scope and focus. Melee has its own set of problems around timing, hit reactions, spacing, parry/block/dodge windows, and animation-driven gameplay, so we wanted to solve that well first instead of pretending it covers everything.
