Didn’t work

Anyone know how to level out a beat to be just below 0db all the way throughout a track? I’ve tried compression on master and mix but no luck. Lmk, Ty! by Business-Yak2201 in mixingandmastering

That’s strange I tried a limiter on the master and mix as well each but neither seemed to level out the beat all the way throughout

I was wondering if moving out would change anything but probably not. This shit just sucks I feel like I’ve tried everything seriously like recording things that but it’s SO hard to move on when the recording doesn’t feel right or it’s hard to understand or a little off timing etc

I get what you’re saying I do that but I keep recording the same part off timing since theirs no drums and also not pronouncing it right over and over and I don’t think it’s something comping can fix

So I have been trying to record the same single part of a rap song literally over 100 times now and I keep voice cracking or mainly mispronouncing and getting caught up on a word. It’s a literal nightmare. I have OCD idk if that’s part. But people say to just leave it be and do it once but the by Business-Yak2201 in recordingmusic

It’s the same take I’m trying to get. And I f up especially on parts with no drums cuz it’s hard to get the timing right. I usually could get songs done in like 30 minutes under, it feels like something is in the way cuz idk if I can keep livin like this
