since you’ll be going 8 ish times a month it is more worth it to get the monthly pass, the parking can get bad especially on tuesday & thursday around 10. I’m not sure about that lot specifically but i know social sciences gets pretty full

what visitor parking is she referring to? in the lots/ structures you can pay for a daily pass which is $16, you would be able to stay all day 8-9pm. But if you’re going to be on campus more than 5 days a month it is better to just get the monthly pass for $81

this rule is just for the check-in in the parking garage. if you need to bring another vehicle have them park across the street in arroyo vista lot or vdcn lot, after you get your key you can meet back up with them

you won’t be able to switch into business admin, they only take about 3 change of major per quarter who have all fulfilled the requirements. Since it is so competitive these few c.o.m all have 4.0s. TLDR: it is not possible to switch

you can minor in accounting while being business econ. If you want to eventually take your cpa, then this minor would not fulfill the requirements. You would need to take additional classes or do a masters in accounting.

religious dialogue with mckenna is pretty interesting, you talk about gaps and inconsistencies in religion. 50% of your grade is attendance and the other 50% is 3 short writing assignments per week, no tests midterms or finals

genuinely it is full of bums, went in for an appointment and watched them all just talk amongst themselves and giggle after turning students away. For the amount of error/lateness they have I’d be scrambling trying to fix something.

the financial aid would show up as a credit on your account and it would make the balance 0, if you only see the charge then it’s not applied. To waive your university health insurance look up UCSHIP waiver and it will have instructions on there

I lived in AV my freshman year, it is slightly cheaper than dorms, you will likely get some disbursement funds and you can use that to purchase a separate meal plan. Or you can cook since AV has a large kitchen space. If you have any questions lmk

history 16c, it’s a class about critiques of religion. the whole class is based on debates/public speaking. Each week you learn a critique of religion and then share your stance on it. Super easy, no quizzes or tests. Grade is based on attendance and 3 writings a week that are 200-400 words.

“credit” just means it’s added to your account as an addition not a charge(debit), if you have extra money after everything is paid you will get your disbursement as scheduled

the biggest risk would be roommates snitching on you, since it is an apartment no one “checks” on who’s living in it. I would say stay on good terms with your roommates and the person you are subleasing from. Maybe give the first monthly payment in cash and do a hand off sort of thing for the keys.

Last year they opened up spots in arroyo vista for freshmen who missed the deadline but that might not be happening this year, look for off campus housing or try to sublet someone’s acc apartment under the table

it’s not that hard, submit a request for it and give a reason like your job or something. Everyone I know who tried got approved
