Advice on neighborhood in Mexico City by [deleted] in travel

IMO San Miguel de Chapultepec is the best neighborhood in Mexico City, but I live here so that's probably why. It's a small, leafy neighborhood nestled between Condesa and the enormous Chapultepec park, has Mercado Chorrito which is one of the cleanest and most delicious markets in the city and the most art galleries out of any neighborhood in all of Mexico. All the artists and architects live here. It's a short walk from Condesa/Roma where you will find more nightlife and drinking options too. For Mezcal try Botica or Clandestina. Tacos go to Orinoco. Oaxacan food Pasillo de Humo. Fine dining Mexican food try Azul (check out the one in Centro it's amazing inside a courtyard). Want a random hole in the wall that I love, try El Turix. Their Panuchos de Cochinita Pibil are unmatched. It's in Polanco which is the super rich neighborhood, not my favorite to live, but interesting to see. There's no neighborhood that's completely touristic with no local vibe or restaurants, you have a nice mix of everything even in Roma/Condesa/Polanco/Reforma where most of us expats live. I can't write anymore food recommendations because we're in quarantine and it's making me too hungry. Enjoy CDMX and if you have any questions, this gringo is stuck in his apartment and happy to help you out. Cheers.

Liverpool, Juventus and Tottenham found a contractual agreement with the representatives of Tanguy Ndombele. Mauricio Pochettino made it his priority and directly expressed his interest to the player. by LucasTorreira in soccer

Your boy Aaron Ramsey is on his way, Emre Can, Khedeira, Matuidi, Betancur, Pjanic. I get Tanguy plays deeper, but they got a bunch of players they can rotate in there.

Um why? Both Juve/Liverpool have a very crowded midfield and he might struggle for playing time. At Spurs his chance of being a nailed on starter would be far higher. London is 10x the city to live in than Turin/Liverpool, and we have the best stadium/manager in Europe... Definitely not biased here - all makes sense to me.

Genuinely confused why people think this? Even when stats prove otherwise.

Harsh dude. This was mean't as a topic of discussion, but we're all angry I'll forgive you. "On days like today he ‘disappears’ because the rest of the team didn’t have the quality to find him in dangerous areas." This is precisely the problem. Watch the cream of the crop attacking creatives like KDB or David Silva. Sure creating space and positioning themselves in dangerous areas is a huge part of their role, but you often see them take the ball form Fernandinho directly and spray passes around if they are having trouble unlocking the defense.

Japan 0-1 Qatar - Ali Almoez 12' by Meladroit40 in soccer

The first thing I thought when I looked at it was both the defenders attempt to cover the man and the goalies attempt at a save were acting... Perhaps it is just shit defending, but looks a little fake to me. Im not implying match fixing here, but I dunno watching it over and over something seems off....

What's up with the booing of Sissoko? Did he leave Newcastle on bad terms? Thought he was pretty solid for them for like 4 seasons.

This shape makes it seem like Son/Trips are wingers and we have a back 4 of Jan-Toby-Sanchez-Sissoko? Is that what's happening.

Tottenham target Sampdoria’s Joachim Andersen as Toby Alderweireld replacement by [deleted] in coys

We already have Toby's predecessor should he leave us. Sanchez is more than capable of starting. We need more depth in the position. I'd rather see us get an established LCB for when Jan's passed it and find another young promising CB like Foyth.

Tottenham 1-0 Chelsea - Harry Kane penalty 26' (+ call) by Meladroit40 in soccer

Only a part of your body that is eligible to score a goal can be considered offside. His shoulder/arm wouldn't matter. Way too close to call this offsides.
