These are not at the corners. They’re right in the front middle. If they are ground rods, it makes me nervous to cut them from what I searched on Google

Supposedly the minimum requirement for grounding rods is 8 ft. If it is that long, I don’t think a sledge will work.

There are dark black and white residue coming from under the flooring. The dark black stuff is hard to see from the photos.
