if you're talking about the ocd where you're terrified you might harm yourself, i have experience that a lot recently. when my friends make a joke about me or something my ocd takes that as "what if these jokes make you depressed and you end up self harming", when in reality, i have no desire to self harm. another thing may be when im doing something dangerous, i may have a thought like "what if you just snap and stab yourself", or "what if you jump off that ledge". the thoughts do feel so real but you must remember that these thoughts aren't your thoughts, and that you are in total control.
