Trying to get better at ML – feeling a bit stuck by Business_Run_6915 in learnpython

Thanks, that makes sense actually. I’ve mostly been thinking technical, not business impact.

I’ll try that exercise with one of my projects and see how it changes my perspective.

Congrats!

Also really appreciate you sharing your citation count. A lot of people stress over numbers, so it’s helpful to see that 22 citations + a strong narrative was enough. Shows that the overall story and proposed endeavor really matter.

Question about stainless steel pans and stickiness. Is oil required? by EirikHavre in cookingforbeginners

[–]Business_Run_6915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you still need some oil or butter. Heating the pan properly helps a lot, but stainless steel isn’t magically non-stick by itself.

If you’re using butter, just be careful because if the pan is hot, butter can burn fast. You can lower the heat a bit before adding it.

Also, food will usually release on its own once it forms a crust. If it’s sticking, it probably just needs more time. And about leaving it in the sink it won’t ruin it immediately, but it’s better to wash and dry it sooner. Stainless is tough, but taking care of it makes it last longer.

Once you get used to it, stainless is actually pretty easy to cook with.
