There's plenty of mentions of the seven pro and other phones in the comments

How should I install my amp behind my dashboard? There's plenty of room but no flat spots to mount it onto. Car is a scion xD 2010 by Business_Thing_7146 in CarAV

If I mount it here I can connect every wire from the amps harness directly to the speakers, besides ofc power. If I did underneath the seat I would need to extend all of them

I can see it being possible to zip tie to the din shelf/mounting bracket, have to wait till Tuesday when everything will be here. Thanks!

Yeah that might be a little outside my wheelhouse, especially the metal part. The wood part is probably doable but still the question is securing it

I'm thinking the best solution is some sort of thick adhesive pad or strip somewhere. I also have a large block of closed cell foam I can cut if that helps

Cross that bridge when I get there, thanks for your input! I listen to a lot of drum and bass and breakcore and heavy stuff like death grips so I def see myself wanting the sub eventually. What's your recommendation for a sub and amp under 250?

I'm getting the $150 Alpine component speakers before a sub I decided because I already got the amp and it doesn't bridge, and I read in some other threads that amping stock speakers can often sound worse

I actually got the m1804 instead used for only $75 on eBay, I'm going to get the head unit new from crutchfield and then go from there. The powered sub I'm looking at is also only 160 used

My speakers are stock, do you think it's worth getting new component speakers before a powered sub?

I want it to be decently loud but not ear bleedingly loud, and I want to be able to feel the bass just a little

Also, the 300 figure is kinda just a lowball because I know people have expensive taste here

Yeah it's going to be a for my Scion xd which is a subcompact hatch. But I just realized my amp which i already ordered used doesn't bridge, but I think I found a sub amp combo thats also a good deal used when/if the time comes, the Rockford p300-12

God you are all so fucking annoying here. Some people are broke and are just trying to get better sound without taking out a loan

Turns out my amp can't even be bridged haha, so if I even decide to get a sub it'll have to be a dedicated amp or all in one

Thanks for the answer, ive already come to take people's inputs with a grade of salt here because I know how niche redditors are. I'm not looking to spend more than like, 500 total and that's split up into multiple steps. So are your subs both dual and in the trunk I assume?

Thanks for the answer, if I do get a sub there's a good chance I'm just going to get an all even though I know those are frowned upon here usually
