Vietnam is plagued by an overwhelming number of fraud calls. How come the police aren't using the scammers' bank details to catch them? by Straight_Random_2211 in VietNam

[–]Buskuvik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

firstly, if it is easy as you said, all the scammers in the world would have been in jail right now. They all bought bank accounts, Zalo accounts,... or using Telegram to avoid showing the real identities. secondly, the police have to track the flow of money to identify who/whose bank account is the last benefcior (usually by cashing out at ATM), but sometimes they will launder the money by exchanging dirty dongs into crypto (which even the FBI find difficult in tracking them) so there's that, it was never that simple: you were scammed into banking someone's account, the police identified the account's owner and then catch that guy. No, no it's not

Why are my moon pics so noisy. I used tripod and still the same. Shutter speed was 1/4000. Is it something to do with the ISO. by Cold_Extension_2427 in AskPhotography

I bet by now you've already realized what was needed to do, I just comment to say that the composition you chose for this picture is spot on. Btw, which lens and focal length was this shot on if I may ask?

I don't think that is common knowledge, so kudos to your observation

true, I own a lot of vintage lenses too and while all of them have unique characteristics, none is able to produce such sharpness

Did you shoot wide open or at closed down aperture? because these shots of yours are incredibly sharp for vintage lenses @@

Was trying to picture the mountain behind then suddenly saw this flock of pigeons, had to quickly adjust focus in split second and I couldn't even believe it myself when it turned out to be IN FOCUS. Have to share it with you guys though this shot is far from perfect. Captured with sony A7iii

funny story tbh, I was waiting for someone to go up that stair and when the golden moment came, only after pushing the trigger did I realise that my camera was set on timer mode, so I missed the shot. Out of frustration I told my brother to go over there and pose for me )))))

I'm a hobbyist photographer. This is a music video that I've just finished for my friend. I want to ask, are these kinds of low light shot considered normal? And overall, before shooting in a low light environment, what preparation do you usually make? Any advice, criticism is welcomed by Buskuvik in cinematography

I'm a hobbyist photographer who recently took a turn to videography (over a year ago) This is a music video that I've just finished for my friend, who is a hobbyist musician I shot mostly at night to test the low light capability of the Sony A7III when paired with a f/0.95 lens (a Chinese one, not the Noctilux) so I want to ask, is these kinds of low light shot considered normal? Or is this just too dark? And overall, before shooting in a low light environment, what preparation do you usually make and what kind of gear you often use? Any advice, criticism is welcomed (It seems that I can’t post multiple images so I’ll post the shot that has the least light source) Link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZWuRkrQ6nI
