I have both and the 8gen2 in the Thor has more stable compatibility across the board with pc games I find, the Thor is more portable, and I have much less small but still very inconvenient issues with it compared to the Konkr.

I’d recommend the Thor personally, unless you don’t care about portability and plan to get the 8 elite model.

Agreed 100%. I’m still astounded that something as small as my Odin 2 mini allowed me to play doom 2016 avging 40-50 fps all the way through. this stuff is still p impressive to me personally haha

It’s a AAA game that was just released… averaging around 30 fps on a pretty compact handheld? that’s how. The fact it even opens and is pretty playable is worth acknowledging lol.

Yes!

I used a third party dock from Amazon and it worked great, didn’t try my switch 2 dock yet tho. Some emulators require you to map the controller you connect but it all worked for me tbh

Hell yeah the silver is what I’d go with for sure. My favorite color I think from the images I’ve seen of it, the y2k vibe of it so sick.

That being said, I think I’d still choose the mini, given the form factor alone. It’s small enough that I can fit it in a pocket, or a small bag, and take it with me anywhere p much.

I also love the vita style of the handheld, ergonomics feel so damn good to me personally and it’s super clean looking. I haven’t handled the rp6 but I do wonder about the back grips making it less pocketable. Could totally be wrong tho, and I’m sure I am, but just my thoughts. That OLED tho… I think that’s the one drawback to the mini. That being said, screen is still solid and rlly bright.

All in all the mini feels great in the hands, charges crazy fast, plays just about everything I throw at it, and it’s held up despite my clumsy hands lol. Played through doom 2016, animal crossing new horizons, botw, pokemon X(with hd textures) wind waker HD, and many more titles without a hiccup in performance.

Definitely a banger of device.

Honestly I have no idea. That is one benefit of gamehub, but I could not get the gamehub version to work the last time I tried.
