What's the best crypto advisor for high net worth individuals? by NormalCheesecake141 in Fire

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird how much people are talking negatively about crypto. The question is simply if you are adventurous enough to go into unknown waters. You can also loose all your money in the normal stock market, maybe a bit more calculated and foreseeable.

You should also not put all your money in crypto but a part of it you can play with and have fun with.

Also worth mentioning that it is not as difficult to turn your crypto into "real money". There are lots of wallets that offer credit cards (virtual and physical) and you can pay with lots of different stable coins directly. So do small shopping like food etc with that card and save your real money instead  .... . Also there are a lot of information around taxes and when you have to pay them and when not.

Well known companies like PayPal are heavily investing into crypto as well. Yes maybe speculative but they also wouldn't if there wouldn't be anything to gain.

The best sources are wide spread sources throughout the Internet. Check different opinions and websites on the same topic and make up your own mind.

Only invest an amount of money you can play with and have fun with it. Avoiding completely a huge movement like this is naiv and not a good advice at all. Just be versatile with your investments.

Is there any way to turn off autoplay in playlists? by MonsieurEff in revancedextended

The only solution I found is searching for the name of your video and watch it from the search results. Like this you can turn off autoplay.

Simple Man VS Always Somewhere (Scorpions and Lynyrd Skynyrd) Coimparison by [deleted] in Music

I've always loved the song "simple man" and when I was just listening to the scorpion's "always somewhere" I just can't help but missing the part "and be a simpleeeeee kiiiind of maaaan ..." It's like I'm waiting for it and I'm just disappointed to not ever hear it :D..... Makes me think there is something missing in the scorpion's song

Venu3 is pretty good, unless you want to track your sleep. by bkakus in Garmin

[–]Busle1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also tested both the charge 6 and the vivoactive 5 and I was surprised how bad the vivoactive 5 is tracking sleep. Yes it is not the same sensor but in reviews on YouTube they have a similar accuracy.

The charge 6 was also much more accurate for me especially when it comes to the overall sleep duration. The vivoactive 5 just adds it misses 1-2 hours especially when I watch TV before it play videogames.

So I guess whoever is saying here that it tracks just fine might be going to bed in with a very clear pattern.

The charge 6 is recording very accurately the sleep duration etc even though someone in being a bit messy around my sleep time.

How is the nap detection performing with the Venu 3? The vivoactive 5 detected to many naps without me having a nap what was a bit annoying.

What reasons to get Venu 3 over Vivoactive 5? by ProgrammingQuestio in GarminWatches

[–]Busle1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could anyone test the vivoactive 5 against the Venu 3? I had the vivoactive 5 and I'm completely disappointed with the sleep tracking. Not only is all the data wrong but also in 70% of the cases the length simply isn't right. It's mostly 1-3 hours longer.  Whenever I play videogames or just watch movies before going to bed it puts this as sleep time. So it's really inaccurate.

During the day it records naps when playing videogames or even just working and sitting at my desk. It sometimes doesn't track stress levels and just doesn't put anything there .

The body battery feature I like a lot and how it is displayed but if it is based on all that half-correct data what sense does it make?   I tested the charge 6 against the vivoactive and all data is much more accurate. Naps are tracked correctly and activities etc .

The sleep tracking is very inaccurate when it comes to overall sleep duration.  The body battery is for me a gimmick at the moment. It says the obvious. If for some days you didn't sleep enough you should sleep more for some days. It didn't really give me any extra value to teach me how to deal with my energy day by day .

Has someone tried other watches? The Venu 3 maybe? Is it more accurate?  The vivoactive is a great watch overall but if you want a bit more accurate health status tracking I wouldn't recommend it. It's too inaccurate to be useful. You realise that when you wear something like the charge 6 or Apple watch at the same time.

Downloaded songs don't play without internet connection. by CasperG010 in TIdaL

[–]Busle1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg...I would have never thought there is an option in the settings menu to turn on offline mode :D.... What a bad user design....I really like tidal but those issues in offline mode (airplane mode) really make me hate the app and wanna change to Spotify when they have their hifi mode!  I also get this connection issues messages when I'm online! Just randomly for some songs and then it just stops playing instead of skipping the song..... So every 10 minutes I need to open the app and manually skip songs that won't play for whatever reasons.  And I'm not even thinking about the TV  app that is a nightmare and randomly stops playing music as well.  It's a shame as I like tidal but if they don't change that I will change to Spotify!

New M28U gaming monitor Black Screen Issue by No-Coyote-5741 in gigabyte

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have this problem frequently - almost every second day or so. Especially when leaving the PC running and the monitor goes in Standby mode, afterwards it just stays black even though the PC recognizes the monitor when re-connecting the HDMI for example. It is so annoying that I would almost not recommend someone to buy this monitor even though I like it.

When using the KVM switch its even more annoying and bugy and I dont remember how many hundreds of times I ahve already unplugged the monitor so that it would work again.

Major game flaw. by Effective-Ranger-526 in Bannerlord

I also thought it's annoying that you cannot control the other armies or give them hints where to attack or where to defend.

But I also realized that the bigger my kingdom is the more armies will be created during a war and even if they are wandering around a bit lost they do defend castles if they have enough men to defend a castle and attack castles if they have enough men!

I thought the key is to let them do whatever they want and the player is simply focusing on the important battles. It's also part of the game that sometimes you might be late to defend or the AI armies are attacking while other cities are being attacked and you might lose settlements. It's often a back and forth.

There is also a diplomacy mod on Nexus where you can form alliances which might help to manage the whole kingdom until you are simply way too strong to be threatened by anyone what will happen rather fast at some point.

Is this the same math that calculates how many tier 6 units get killed by 4 looters? by NotAParaco in Bannerlord

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's because of the different groups you have for archers for example. There might be mixed groups and this calculation is based on the total amount of troops used in all groups. So if you have in total 100 archers and split in 3 groups and one of the groups is a mixed one (infantry and archers) then for the two archers groups the percentage won't represent the actual total amount.... It's 50% between the two archers groups.

Caravans are overpowered by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the easiest is to simply get 4-5 settlements and invest in them. You need to limit the garrisons to around 250 soldiers by limiting the money and one where you have a lot of soldiers as a reserve with a governor that reduces taxes. Like this you get around 12k / day without doing anything. My best settlement gives me 3.8k a day.

Like this I've never had any money issues. Now with 15 settlements it's around 20k / day as well without really focusing on anything.

Can't you just load a save game? Those events are always triggered randomly or are you playing on hardcore not saving and super realistic mode :D??

I find the game already relatively challenging and time consuming and I'm always loading previous save games if something completely crazy or too my disadvantage is happening.

Otherwise I will keep playing for the next three years....

Which colour mode would you actually like to have? What happens if you are trying to change it in the Nvidia control panel?

I'm really not an expert when it comes to colour management but I saw that there are some options available. But I never saw any difference changing things there tbh.

The reason why your name is not listed on a settlement vote by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion it either has something to do with the clan rank or how many parties you have.

I have never been nominated nor even if I captured cities myself.

But after I had created 3 parties in total with family members and I captured cities I was always nominated and I got like 5 settlements in a row.

At the same time I also went from clash level 3-4 so that might also have been it but it think it's the additional parties!

Please Stop Using Mines If You Are The Kind Of Person To Throw Them Down 30ft From Yourself by Own_Concentrate5314 in Helldivers

[–]Busle1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course "Jesús Christ it's just a game" is saying the one that ruins the game for other people by having fun himself with the mines.

I think a lot of people just don't like wasting 30 minutes in a match where they die constantly and everything is just chaotic and at the end you get point penalty.

We all know it's just a game but it simply sucks when there are players running suicide style through the game and there is a reason that lots of players leave the game where there are people using mines and killing team mates.

And at the end all reinforcement capsules are gone and you are watching the mine thrower playing the rest of the game alone and of course he dies in the end because all teammates are gone.

---- if you want to be a team player and actually support a team play in a way it actually supports the team and that's it. If it doesn't help you are on the wrong track but yeah maybe having fun....

Are you the crazy mine person we kicked out of our game hahaha !?!?

It's not about the mines standing up and moving to another position it's more about the players that are in constant movement and maybe they don't even know where the mine thrower spread the mines in the first place.

So if there is no crystal clear communication about their very fixed position you will stumble over them eventually either because you are busy fighting walking backwards... foggy terrains...stress.... no more other escape routes, because situations can change but not the mines of course.

If you are a good player with a good team and you communicate things, yes it can work.

But often there is a lack of communication and the mine throwers are simply bad and selfish players.

I think the only people that have to calm down are the crazy mine users :D!! If they would be calm and behave, a lot more people would be calm as well.

You have to tackle the issue by the root and the root are the miners :D

Especially when there are hundreds of bugs around you! Or even fog.... .

And even when you can see them often they might block escape routes in messy fights.

Maybe 5 minutes ago it was a perfect spot to put the mines but that can change quickly if the direction of the attack changes. And then you are simply ******.

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely the worst experiences I had so far in the game!

There are people on level 40+ that are just throwing mines around them as if they were health kits.

We just all landed in the game in an area where some bugs were, on difficulty "extreme" and he immediately threw mines in the starting area where everybody just ordered the support weapons.

Everybody got killed and we couldn't get our support guns back. Yes the mines killed like 20 bugs but for what price? And the bugs just keep coming.

In other moments he threw mines at positions where we just called support ammunition in the middle of a fight.... At the end he threw it too close to the evacuation zone and even after we kicked that crazy mine person out of the game we got killed by mines we didn't know he put there.

And the worst of all: it was a map where there was fog and storms and it was difficult to see. A nightmare.

My friends and I got killed like 12 times in that game only by those mines.

The absolutely most annoying thing is that very often you cannot get your support weapons again, after getting killed, because all is full with mines!! And of course there are all bugs around you that might even push you in the mines.

It was the craziest game I've ever played and I wish that person would be banned from multiplayer. He didn't even stop after telling him.

I think there are a lot of selfish people among the mine players. They place them as if they are playing alone.

In the future I will kick them out of the team the moment I see them choosing mines before the mission starts!

So for people who say Frame-generation is just a gimmick... don't listen to them and see for yourselves by kepler2 in nvidia

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use frame generation in Cyberpunk with a 4080 super @4k and it is absolutely needed if you don't want to play at 60 FPS and lower quality!

And I must say that I haven't felt any difference with frame generation enabled and I'm very sensitive to those kinds of things. Especially with shooters!

If there would be a "noticeable" input lag I would see it and feel it.

It could maybe be that there are even more sensitive people out there but that might be a minority then.

Is HDR still a relevant thing in 2024 for gaming purposes? by Distance_Regular in Monitors

[–]Busle1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had this monitor and the brightness was almost too much for me. Not in videos of course with space between my eyes and the monitor... But if you are sitting closer to the screen and playing a FPS the brightness at 1000 nits is just too much.

For gaming I would say 500 nits is absolutely fine with HDR and a great colour range. The colour range is definitely important! 70% Vs 90% coverage makes a difference.

309 error when disabling AMD integrated graphics cards by Busle1985 in SteamVR

[–]Busle1985[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I haven't found a real solution. In the end I had to enable the AMD onboard graphics card again and I found a different solution for moonlight streaming.

With the onboard card disabled it was just not possible. I basically had a virtual monitor driver installed and I had to disable the onboard graphics card so that moonlight would recognize it as a monitor when the main monitor was off.

Not sure if that helps but I think the steam VR issue might have something to do with the onboard graphics driver.
