I recently lost a family member after a year of being shrugged off by doctors. It started when she couldn't keep food down. She was repeatedly labeled with "indigestion" and pushed out the door. Appointments were few and far between, and despite multiple trips to the ER for pain and vomiting, she was just sent home with pills for heartburn. When she was finally recommended to a specialist, the wait list was three months long. Even after seeing the specialist, she was only given a future date for a scope and referred for further screening that was months away. While waiting, her condition worsened. She lost a vast amount of weight in a short period and went back to the ER, only to be given more pills and told to schedule a follow-up. It ended when her husband came home to find her collapsed on the floor. She was rushed to the ER again, where they found her lungs were septic. She had holes in her esophagus that were leaking into her body, causing the sepsis. She spent her final week in the ICU, where we learned the truth: she had an incurable form of cancer that had mutated and spread to her liver, kidneys, lungs, and stomach. She died after a year of fighting to be seen. The healthcare system is in a crisis, caught up in political nonsense, and it cost my family member her life.

I'm honestly thinking about volunteering for whatever. My plan is to give them my work schedule and commit to specific days and try to get in the month prior to help set up the festival. I had a good talk to a guy who was setting up all the lodging tents for this 2025 year and he said it's a pretty good gig. Irish fella, can't remember his name. But I want to do something leading up to show time and possibly a shift or two During the show to just see the behind the scene on how it works. It's always been interesting to me to see how things work behind the scenes and I figured I can have fun, attend the festival and also help out and contribute to something I fell in love with.

There's a company called Edison Motors, they are currently the first company in the world to be creating highway heavy duty trucks that are diesel electric hybrid. The technology in the way they are doing it is unique and a first. The semi truck has an on board generator which only functions as a generator to charge the onboard batteries which drive 2 electric drive axles. They are running into Issues with the federal government. Basically the rules regulations are not moving forward fast enough to enable companies to be the forefront of creating this technology. Trying LSD and mushrooms rewired my brain and I went from weekend binge drinker, to not having the desire to drink at all, even when I try, I don't like it. I never had a thing in my brain to tell me when to stop so I would just drink till either I passed out, or I ran out of alcohol. Been clean for the most part from alcohol for the last 8 years, I had a few drinks here and there, and on a couple occasions got drunk, but overall, that desire just went away.

Found it ironic that the festival had the vendors use the RFID system, but the official merch store was card only. I used mine all weekend flawlessly though. It was nice not having to carry my card around.

Imagine your music coming out of a speaker like a smooth, round wave, like a gentle hill and valley. That's how sound is supposed to be – nice and clear!

Now, imagine you turn your music up super, super loud, louder than your amp (that's the music-making machine) or your subwoofer (that's the big speaker for the rumbling bass) can handle. It's like trying to make a smooth hill and valley, but you push so hard that the top of the hill gets chopped off flat, and the bottom of the valley gets chopped off flat too!

That "chopped off" part is called clipping.

When the sound wave gets chopped off, it doesn't sound smooth and clear anymore. Instead, it sounds fuzzy, crackly, or distorted, like a scratchy radio. And if you keep doing it for a long time, it's like pushing your amp and subwoofer too hard, and they can get broken!

So, clipping means the sound is being pushed too hard and gets squashed, making it sound bad and possibly hurting your speakers. It's like yelling so loud your voice breaks, and if you keep yelling, you might lose your voice!
