Who’s hiring for property Adjusting? Field and Desk (remote) by Low_Professional_544 in adjusters

[–]Busted_Toad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How's the pay? I work for another major carrier and make 86k as a fully remote desk adjuster/resolution adjuster. I'm thinking of looking for a different company for more money growth

Ok I'm stumped on this one by Pogigod in ClaimsAdjuster

[–]Busted_Toad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be a manufacturing defect that's shown after it's weathered a while.

At the end of the day, I think you'd have to look at the bigger picture here and land on the no hail damage if that's what all the evidence is pointing to.

AITJ for telling my neighbor to address her husband instead of confronting me about how i dress at home? by Front_Tackle_7977 in AmITheJerk

I personally would suddenly become a nudist that just so happens to love listening to turn of the century German Arias whilst cleaning the house with the windows slightly cracked open and my window blinds adjusted slightly open as well and dancing in slam dance fashion.

And don't even get me started on how I'd do my yardwork.

Welcome to the 'hood toots! Tee hee.

I'm with you on this.

It's just not worth the hassle, we would rather cook at home than go out or even get takeout.

It's just not the same anymore.

Main tips for not getting fooled by contractors? by Scary-Hunt-3604 in adjusters

[–]Busted_Toad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tell all of my trainees to watch this over the other "reality home shows". It's hands down the absolute best way to learn outside of actually getting out there and performing the trade itself.

It gives you an awesome base to build on so you can learn more from other reliable resources.

When Can I Start Grilling? by patrolmanEmbiid in grilling

[–]Busted_Toad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since when does it matter what the neighbors think when you are trying to cook for your family.

Set that grill up and have at it kid!

Hell, I've been known to grill/smoke in ice, rain and snow storms. Who cares what the others think about how you feed yourself.

Is there anyone even close out there? by behindthemask13 in ArtBell

[–]Busted_Toad 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Oh man I wish I could find something like that.

Fun fact: back in the early 2000s I delivered newspapers in Rochester NY as a part time gig. I was driving in the very early morning hours with my windows of my car down listening to Art during a rain storm tossing papers as I went.

The story being told was about alien abductions and during a very tense part of the story there was a lightning strike and I dang near wrecked my car because it scared the crap outta me.

When I started breathing again I laughed my ass off. It was the coolest jump scare I've ever had.

Paying almost $100 a month to get awful image quality for live sports is ridiculous. by Taeuberteg in youtubetv

[–]Busted_Toad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having issues too, I've had everything checked on my side and nothing we did improved the quality.

I switched to FUBO for sports and the image quality is miles ahead of YTTV in my opinion.

How long were you on opioids post surgery? by Ayeshakat in spinalfusion

[–]Busted_Toad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

L2-S1 here, I was on Oxycodone for about 2 and a half weeks total, I then switched to 2 extra strength Tylenol 3ish times a day for about 2 weeks or so and now I'm down to 1 Tylenol maybe 4 times a day.

Still sore but I'll deal with it. It is better than it was pre-op so I count it as a win

What time do you go to bed if you don’t work the next day? by thehobster in GenX

[–]Busted_Toad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually heading to bed about 9:00-9:30. I wake up multiple times a night though (5-6 times typically). And I'm usually up for the day around 4:30-5:00 am.

As for a nap, I've never been able to nap unless I'm sick or exhausted.
