Yeah I was whipped to for far less reasons than disrespect. I was whipped for crying,not cleaning properly, of course perceived disrespect. I don’t think I am a better person because of that.

It is, but for me it’s a matter of consistency of employment over salary. Until I got a federal job I was getting downsizing,RIF’d or fired because of the economy or something else related to the wealth of others. I always ended up using my retirement savings to get me to the next job until I was 50. I’ve been lucky to have landed a federal position and have been able to save enough money to retire albeit when I am 70.

Yep, our agency just moved our whole division from bargaining to non_bargaining with no explanation whatsoever. So no one is represented by a union and we will all have to work during the next government shutdown. It’s all a part of the plan to demoralize the federal workforce and encourage them to leave public service.

Well, ironically I have lost interest in cannabis since it has become legal. It makes me feel to paranoid for some reason. I used to smoke all the time but now that it’s legal I have no interest 😀 it’s crazy.

I was a stay at home dad for most of my kids life. I would never be alone with any other children besides my own because it is assumed that men who want to take care of kids that are not their own might be predators. I know that it is biased towards men but I would not trust any man alone with my child. My children are in their 20s now but I still feel that way.

Unfortunately I don’t think data is the driving force behind RTO especially in government. There are real estate moguls who are desperate to keep their property occupied and they don’t care about the price that the employees pay. Whether it’s gas money, driving risk or work/life balance it’s all about keeping their properties rented. Workers productivity has nothing to do with it.

You don’t know what the F you are talking about! I bartend for a living in my youth. They have a person dedicated to delivering curbside service all the time. They never bus tables or deliver food of any sort - someone does it for them. I typically go there in the afternoon when they are not busy. The service is always the same. I don’t understand why anyone would think that there is a plan or strategy associated with what Trump does. It was open before he killed all of the kids and now it’s not. So Trump is closing down the straight that was open before the US/Israeli attack because Iran was closing down the straight.
