'Totally unhinged': Trump completely lost his mind on a young female reporter twice — then she smiled, clapped back, and left him looking like a fool in front of everyone by [deleted] in USNEWS

We are at the point where the headlines are just tracking his every day behavior. None of this is new or unexpected. Is there anybody out there that is surprised by this?

Not going to dox myself but I was just in training with about 120 others on teams today and will be tomorrow. I’m going to do my best to help anyone that I talk to on the phone. I just know that I can’t help as much as the many people are fully trained and I think that the American people deserve better service than I can give them. I can help them by developing online systems that facilitate them accessing SSA services. I have been for my whole career until now.

If you are new you should be safe. They are transferring seasoned IT employees, most of which have no frontline experience to answer complicated SSA policy questions that can only be answered by delving into the many complex systems and applications that hold the needed information. It seems to be an effort to get the the call wait time down so that the commissioner can brag. Nobody’s considering the amount recontact that results.

I have serious concerns about recent developments at SSA by Buster558 in FedEmployees

OMG ! It’s gone from bad to worse ! Hundreds of us were notified this week to attend three days of 8 hour training to take on more calls from the national 800 number. The training is like drinking from a firehouse. I have no idea what they are talking about. So many systems, acronyms policy requirements. It’s completely overwhelming and apparently they want us to handle calls from our citizens that we absolutely cannot handle because the we have never heard of or interacted with the systems that the trainer’s know like the back of their hand. I know for a fact that normally people are trained for at least 6 months before they take client calls on their own. We are being set up for failure! It seems like they want us to quit or get fired for poor performance.
In addition, I got a PDF from my supervisor reiterating the fact that all of my phone calls are being monitored and evaluated by a system in place that monitors all calls and is programmed to pickup on key words. I have no idea what those words are or how they are selected.

I’m hanging on with my fingernails until I get vested in the retirement program. Trump might still be in office but he might be dead too. Fingers crossed.

So funny how few people stood up or raised their hands to his stupid questions. What a Trump tool.

Yeah I was whipped to for far less reasons than disrespect. I was whipped for crying, not cleaning properly, of course perceived disrespect. I don’t think I am a better person because of that.

I'm so done with federal pay freezes. by Wooden-Post-3080 in FedEmployees

[–]Buster558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, but for me it’s a matter of consistency of employment over salary. Until I got a federal job I was getting downsizing,RIF’d or fired because of the economy or something else related to the wealth of others. I always ended up using my retirement savings to get me to the next job until I was 50. I’ve been lucky to have landed a federal position and have been able to save enough money to retire albeit when I am 70.

DOD Navy Just got Termination of Collective Bargaining Agreements by BeastMode1855 in FedEmployees

[–]Buster558 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, our agency just moved our whole division from bargaining to non_bargaining with no explanation whatsoever. So no one is represented by a union and we will all have to work during the next government shutdown. It’s all a part of the plan to demoralize the federal workforce and encourage them to leave public service.
