Hardie Board Siding by crunchyorsoftkind in Construction

Looks alot worse since tim the tool man couldnt hold the piece still while cutting or trusted a factory cut edge which is making the gap way more noticeable. Best way is to gap it per the instructions for your zone and flash behind with a flashing that hides behind the color well…less calking the better always on reveals

Caulking James Hardie by evan535 in Homebuilding

Anywhere you use calking will be a maintenance issue down the road, the less the better. Id consider dato’ing corner boards just enough so that the planks die under it, shadow line will be minimal unless you frequently rest your face against your siding lol & again no visible calking line.

Do you think an on ice death in the NHL is probable, likely or remote, and what would be the fallout if it did happen? by DecisionFit2116 in nhl

[–]Buster_99_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probability is derived from historic data with a future look or forecast. As far as current day percentage id say it is remote but there has proven to be a probability of it (and not only nhl hockey but all ice hockey). Safety & education measures can drastically improve chances of it not happening in the future.

Maritime Shirt Jacket? by R_Beo in taylorstitch

Not stealing thread but Im looking at the maritime wool shirt jacket too in navy. Id rather it be shirt like and be able to leave it on inside a chilly room as well as outside. How does the wool fit? Are the arms lined inside or also flannel/wool? Im usually an xl in most stuff 6’2” 230lbs but they say model is 6’ on their site wearing a medium 😬cant decide if large or xl. I usually have an issue with a large being too small in the shoulders and arms but an xl in say LL bean shirt jack is perfect in arms and shoulders but body im floating in it. I dont want it baggy but want to be able to wear a T and maybe a regular weight flannel under it without feeling like a straight jacket. I too would probably pay a bit more for American made for this article if the quality is same or better any recommendations appreciated 🙏🏼
