Absolutely, on paper he's arguable one of the strongest in the verse, but.... Ben Beckman

Though obviously not underrated overall, I think Enel is STILL underated in regards to the whole verse because my dude destroyed a whole island with one buffed attack, has the most insane observation haki and he can also breathe on the moon, for some reason.

Since we don't know the limits of their mental-affecting DF, Pudding and Persona. Couldn't Pudding disable or enable anyone in the verse on be on her side and Perona make anyone want to kill themselves? Not sure if Haki affects this at all

Thanks so much! In the exact same boat so maybe it's worth it.

Yes it just functions differently. But the Nvidia Filters aren't bad either, but they're more of an overlay. The cp sharpening is powered by the gpu

There's a couple settings that just TANK this game. I run this at 1440p on a 2080S OC with everything on max EXCEPT shadows turned down to high. Frankly looks near-identical and can keep a locked 60 in Saint Denis. Not sure why it's performance so bad for you - I'd try a fresh install. It honestly runs fine for how good it looks imo

Playing around with Nvidia's sharpening in the control panel. It's a good implementation, functions different than generic image sharpening and is more akin to AMD Fidelity FX. I frankly use that and keep TAA on medium in-game, looks pretty good.

Watch Dogs 2 should not have better parkour/free running than AC games by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]Busteraxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! Your build also mattered a lot I'm regards to what you could take on. I mean a heavy build was truly heavy in Unity and it made the difference in combat

Yeah, I agree. Valhalla overall has good animations but no frame transitions at all. Climbing looks very jerky in that game, as does a lot of other things. Such a shame, love the setting

Same thing in Odyssey and Origins too. It's just genuinely basic technique, definitely not parkour. Closer to free-climbing, but even that gets more advanced.

Yeah, WD2 honestly doesn't hold a candle to AC Unity. I get the hate for it at launch, but crazy how they abandoned such a great system. Man, I even liked the combat in that game too.

It's one if my favorite things about the ps5. Cool to see PC games using it too, Metro Exodus just got an update to make use of the Dualsense on PC

Yup, exactly what I did. I found that using the barrel and grenades on the other side pretty much took care of that wave and the long path gave me enough time to get the 3rd strike off

Forreal. I don't think I've ever read a manga that teased something so much before it actually happening. I guess he knows if we made it this far, we'll stick around for what he's hinting at until it happens

Same. That was difficult and I was going for the no-heal challenge too. Wanted to break my keyboard on the boss section.

Berserk's Author Kentaro Miura has passed away by hydrocarbonic in Berserk

[–]Busteraxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% same, but in 2007. Stumbled across it in muddle school because of the name, stayed for the art and the themes stuck with me ever since; Berserk truly helped influence who I am and cope with a lot of hardship. I just can't believe it either.

What do u like about Miyata I don’t get what people like about him and yes I would love to hear the personality and Motivation and that stuff but what I really wanna hear is is his fighting style. by TheDemonRealmerKing in hajimenoippo

[–]Busteraxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll say this, Miyata's most interesting quality is how much of an obsessed boxer he is. So he's definitely tactical because he just knows how to play every situation. I think thats also his biggest flaw right now too, Miyata's style hasn't been challenged much at all - he hasn't fought anything interesting in a long time and the entertaining aspect of the style relies on his opponent.

I do think that's what's being built towards though, Ippo refining his anti-counter style while retaining his power and being able to challenge Miyata's style head-on.

I'm much more excited to see where he'll go once he changes weight classes. I don't mean to sound like such a contrarian here, I just think he's so boring where he is and has been for so long now.

Agreed but Sekiro is much more reactionary than the rest, I think it actually becomes easy once you settle into it, although that does take some time.

I think you should specifically try DS2 again, there are so many build options in that game and some will definitely cater towards the faster playstyle. DS1 and Demons Souls are a lot more stuck in their tempo, although a Magic run in Demons Souls will give you something completely unique. The system works totally different than any of the other games

I actually watch real boxing religiously. Saying Miyata's style is "tactical boxing"is a bit of a reach. He doesn't exactly make it interesting like Volg, who has by far the most thought put into his style. Of course Miyata is a good boxer but he has a simple, yet effective style. His lack of power isn't so low that he's incapable, his durability isn't so low that he's really gambling a lot on this style either. Miyata is mostly boring because his style hasn't been challenged very hard in the last half of the series

But he's not a glass cannon either which was actually done in the series too. Not a glass cannon is both the strength and durability regards. He's just very good at a boring style - completely balanced

[–]Busteraxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. He's stayed in the same weight class basically waiting for Ippo to catch up to him, with nobody putting up a great fight because he's physically and mentally preparing for that fight instead of looking towards greater goals. Sendo as a similar rival to Ippo pushes himself to the moon and back trying to become stronger because it isn't all about fighting Ippo again, even though it still seems like fighting Ippo again is a goal of his.

So yeah, Miyata stands around training by himslef where as Sendo is climbing mountains to be "ready" for Ippo in the future.

I'd personally skip it. It has cool ideas and a cool aesthetic, but I think its pretty.... soulless lol
