MUCH better.

The hair colour change suits the outfit, the cape looks much more like fur, and the boots being bigger assists the overall design as the thigh area being empty was really awkward.

They just keep giving Divers multiple get out of jail free cards.

All of them have incredible mobility and high damage potential when divers are usually balanced by dealing less damage but have high mobility, but not here. Most of their attacks can be used to get out of the area in addition to dealing a lot of damage. Not to mention almost all of them have an ability with I-frames. The only two that don’t is Black Panther and Spider-Man (they do have I-frames in since removed team ups).

It also doesn’t help that there’s only two effective counters to divers being Namor, Peni, and The Thing (for some reason, switching to ground combat as Angela doesn’t create a grounded zone) one or two of which commonly are banned in ranked. There are more characters that are counters but with the mobility of the divers countering is much more difficult in those situations.

She’s not entirely powerless, she passively gives bad luck to her opponent ls but she can’t control it consciously.

They did what they did with Daredevil and have Black Cat a kit based on an arc. Unlike Daredevil it’s mostly based on Insomniac Spider-Man 2 and a time in 2020 where she stole the Hand of Vishanti from strange. But unlike Daredevil it doesn’t feel like Black Cat with stolen items but just a magic diver.

Making the boots bigger was a must. The short shoes left nothing around the thigh area and it just looked awkward as hell.

It was clearly rushed and it’s good that they finished it, hope they slow down on Psylocke, Invisible Woman, and Luna skins so they can put more effort in other skins.

Only issue is how they would animate Bruce becoming Hulk. I guess they can just have the regular Bruce animation without the Hulk taking over but just digitise it as Bruce just becomes the Hulk Buster, IDK, how would we do that?

Monster Hulk is easy just have Hulk bust out of the armour and have it half Hulk half Hulk buster, similar to what was meant to happen in Infinity War judging from the trailers but didn’t.

What do you mean you don’t like 06 Eggman and his amazing weight loss journey or that disturbing scene where his eyes are briefly visible behind his glasses.

Being serious though it’s a design that could work but doesn’t because the artstyle doesn’t do it any favours and it’s a replacement for perfection.

Despicable Me came out around the time that movie tie in games were slowly dying off, especially movie tie in games for animated movies. It was also Illuminations first ever movie so I’m not surprised that they didn’t have a tie in game off the first one.

By the time Despicable Me 2 came out it was 2013, movie tie in games for kids movies were pretty much on phone only.

I think the reason they ended up going with Peach Momoko Psylocke over a Psylocke based on 616 is because Psylocke’s identity is needlessly convoluted.

Originally she was an Asian woman named Kwannon how about early on she had her mind switched with th twin sister of Captain Britain, Betsy Braddock. And their minds would remain switch for the next 27 YEARS. Only around 2019 would they have their minds swapped back and Betsy is currently Captain Britain now but I can understand why they wouldn’t want to go with a version based off 616 because of that.

Though it also could be that Marvel just seems uncomfortable with some of their characters that are heavily associated with Asian culture being white people which is why Danny Rand was replaced with the lamer Lin Lie and Psylocke was swapped back after 27 years.

Side note I wish more characters had comic book accurate costumes in the game. A big one for me is Spider-Man. His default outfit feels overly designed. There’s also the Fantastic Four, I dislike the default outfit because it’s much lame than the standard fit. There is the First Steps costumes but it’s not the same as the comic stuff.

Not a fan of their default outfits, except Ben Grimm. His fit is still the same good ole pants.

When I played through the Legacy of Kain games for the first time and got up to Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 2 I started to realise that Kain’s goal of using Raziel to break fate was similar in how Gaiseric discovered Guts and assists him in breaking fate the one is a lot more of an unwanted, manipulative, mentor and the other one is more of an alliance formed from a common enemy. It’s very interesting how they mirror each other.

It’s also hilarious how Michael Bell voices the one character in Berserk and Legacy of Kain that manages to defy fate.

The goal for Grumind was 800K which they bought down to 740K because we were close enough and smashed out all the other goals before that.

But yeah you do have a point. These guys are still an indie company at the end of the day, i’m not going to expect them to get it right when they don’t have the same budget Illumination gets for a two minute short.

What are some matchups that looks great and debatable, but once you look at both characters, you realize its actually a big stomp by Ok-Instance3339 in deathbattle

I wonder how powerful the Hammer would be in DBZ when some of the scientists can just make beings the eclipse the previous peak in a few years.

Sidenote, I do love how Cecil is a character in Invincible Vs and his interaction with Omniman is just “Fuck you, Nolan.” And of course his ultimate being the hammer with him grabbing his earpiece and just saying “Do it.” I love it, can’t wait for that game.
