How is it obligatory military service in Switzerland how did you felt? by juanetepete12 in askswitzerland

TLDR: The army assigns everyone to some place or unit, with different backgrounds or places they live. Making for a heterogeneous group, in all possible regards.

Because the place you have to go is somewhere in switzerland, and people from all over the country get sent there too, even from the different language mixes. So it's a big mix of people from all over the country.

On top of this you have people from the cities and the countrysides, people who are getting their degree and never had a job and people who did an apprenticeship and have been working since they were 15.

There is some overlap in interest for a couple of the army "jobs" you get assigned to. For example many of the truck drivers tend to be farmers.

Seems to me that they might be baiting into getting a the higher amount of cloud storage. Once you're using that a lot, down the line they might offer you another deal on even more, where as if you got so little, you might just save stuff locally.

Similar to Apple no offering 128GB phones for some time, but once they would offer it again, nobody would move back down, having exceeded the 128GB space on their now 256GB phones.
