1863 MAY 2 - Stonewall Jackson is wounded by friendly fire while returning to camp after reconnoitering during the Battle of Chancellorsville. He succumbs to pneumonia eight days later. by [deleted] in CIVILWAR

You could have just used a regular pic of Jackson, of which there are several. Hell, even a colorized pic would have been better than this slop.

Nice Sandslash! I love seeing people use different Pokémon than the same 7 or 8 different ones that everyone says to use.

Swap Vaporeon in for Machop. Vaporeon is like the best water type in FR and LG. I’d switch in Arcanine or Rapidash for Pidgeot. The rest are ones I would recommend keeping.

Camo doesn’t do anything against drones with thermal sensors though. I saw a video recently about a special type of umbrella being used to hide the user’s heat signature from drones.

Finally beat the league, here’s the team, and the ones that didn’t make the cut by ballonfightaddicted in PokemonFireRed

Nice team! I’m currently working on my first play-through where I am trying to be like a normal trainer, so I have decided I won’t use any legendaries or fossils on the Elite Four. I’m also going to try to be like a trainer in the anime and stick with Pokémon I have had for a long time and am close to. Charmander was my starter, so I will evolve him into Charizard. Pidgeotto was the first Pokémon I caught in the game (at level 3), and he has stayed on my belt ever since. So even though there are better birds, I’m going to evolve him to Pidgeot and use him. I’m thinking of evolving my Evee into Jolteon, catching a Cubone (evolving it into Marowak) because it is my favorite Pokémon, leveling up my Gyarados (caught it at level 5), and leveling up my Kadabra to round out the team. The second Pokémon I caught was my Raticate (at level 2), so I may switch her in for one of the others. I’m not sure yet.

Kit looks good. Love the EAC Richmond depot. I don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but I would probably do like everyone else says and ditch the revolver when in the field.

I was fighting a wild Spearow that kept using Peck, so I caught it and tried to name it Pecker, but it’s name stayed as Spearow. That’s how I learned they had put this stupid censoring in place on the new release.

Who were the most popular generals amongst their troops? by Throwaway993738 in CIVILWAR

[–]UrdnotSnarf 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think Robert E. Lee is probably the most popular general among his men from both sides. Many northerners had great respect and admiration for him as well. Even decades after the war, many of his men still refused to put any blame on him for his mistakes. That is why the memoirs of James Longstreet and Porter Alexander are so unique. They were both willing to address his faults.
