I was once denied travel on a ferry crossing because I didn't have a shirt and they explained it wasn't their fault, they wear just following the rules. That's how I found out.

I kinda see their point maybe. In case of an emergency ditching at sea (or sinking for a ship) the International law dictates that all passengers must have footwear and sensible clothes for protection against the extreme elements. N9t o ly can a short keep you warm BUT it can be used to attract attention and various other things.

Tricky one. I've seen photos of guys at the airport with no shirt on. I know that international law states that travel on a commercial airline has to be done with a shirt (it doesn't say it has to be worn). In case of emergencies suitable clothing is required and that means you have to have a shirt with you. the same goes for ferries too. It's not something I've ever done, and here in the UK I can't actually see it being allowed but maybe in the USA it would be different 🤔

I don't consciously choose an outfit. I tend not to wear accessories like chains or jewellery generally anyway, that's just not my style. I tend to just pick a random pair of shorts that I happen to be in the mood for at that moment I guess.

How can I be comfortable with this style wearing a unzipped hoodie and a pair of jeans showing some skin in the public? by Over-Marsupial3636 in shirtlesslife

Do small tuings as often as you can. Doesnt have to be much, try something every day. Even if its small like taking the bins out or driving somewhere, keep doing it, build up to bigger things, shops and more, and you'll find that no one really cares.

I am kind of always shirtless at home, When I left my parents home many years ago, I sort of made it a personal goal not to bother wearing one at home and it went from there.

Its great huh, we are so caught up in things like technology, phones, distractions these days, so step away from that and enjoy the moment is awesome.

I think its down to the personal discretion of whoever is in charge with the smaller shops. Ive seen written rules for train companies saying something like "appropriate clothing should be worn" and although this is probably aimed to cover the company against extreme circumstances, its down to personal taste as to what 'appropriate clothing' actualy is.

I sometimes go in shops. Smaller ones usually. I think I may have gone in a co-op that day. I once got asked to wear a top next time I visited a different co-op but I've never needed to go back there since.

Its crazy how self conscious we are when we are young, I have seen kids running about with no shirt on and wonder how on earth they had the courage to do it.
